Secondly, the Wildcat was not that effective last season. Many teams shut it down soon after the Fins broke it out vs. the Patriots. I don't know why people are acting like it's this super explosive offense when it was easily contained by many teams late in the season.

Thirdly, you are acting like Pat White is going to be Michael Vick on steroids. What makes you think Pat White is going to just step right into the league and run the Wildcat so efficiently? He will suck at passing out of it, he will suck at running because he is going to die the first time a DEnd crushes his skull.

Anyways, there is no point in spending so much time on pre-season predictions. I was just arguing that the Dolphins aren't building a serious playoff contender, which they aren't.

Pat White has 388 carries in his past two seasons, so what are you basing him getting crushed and injured off of? Do you have any evidence of him being a weak player or are you just saying this because you hope it happens? If you are going to act like a knowledgeable football fan then please back your statements up with truthful evidence. Pat White in 4 years at WVU rushed for 4480 yards, 47 TD's and averaged 6.5 YPC, so where is your evidence that he won't make any impact at all with his legs?

The Big East is not the AFC East.

Pat White is 170 pounds soaking wet. If you think he is going to be able to carry the ball like he did in college against NFL defenses that have guys bigger and faster than him all over the field, you are going to be sadly mistaken.

Fast in college doesn't automatically equate to fast in the pro's.

In college, defenders constantly fuck up their assignments when it comes to covering the spread option. The NFL is an entirely different level. There is a huge difference between professional football players and college football players.

23. Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys are starting fresh in a new stadium this year. But a new stadium won't help a lot of question marks on the team. The WR position is kind of shaky after Roy Williams. The secondary is so-so with Hamlin and Davis at safety. I don't expect the Cowboys to have a great year in 09.

Jeff Garcia isn't better than anyone at QB in the NFL at this point. It'd be pretty sad for Russell's development if he got beat out by that guy. But it's PFT and it's May, so I wouldn't buy it just yet.
