The truth is the browns will suck, it is just the way of the world. while vinsane and his true brethern of the lost cause brownstains sound good now, just listen to them aftre the first week of camp to get a feel for how they really feel. The only reason the browns were ranked 32 is cuz there wasn't a 33rd spot.
Coming from a Shittsburgh fan I'd expect no less.

What exactly did the Cowboys address this offseason that made them better than last year? They got rid of both their 'cancers' but also lost one of the better WRs in the league (and I hate saying that because I HATE TO).

I'm not a Romo hater, he is a good QB, and with an OL that can actually block he will/should be successful.

But I can't get out of my head how they completely collapsed last year when they basically were handed a spot in the playoffs. That Ravens game pretty much showed how much of a bitch Hamlin and the rest of that defense is/are.
...and week 17, but I wont sit here and rub that in your face.

Basically, the winner of the NFC East should be considered a favorite to represent the NFC in the superbowl (I'm hoping at least).

Romo misses 3 games and when he comes back still isn't right
                Jones misses half the season
The aforementioned Adams and Kosier injuries on the OL
Witten was a walking infirmary for 12 games

                That's just the offense. Dallas' biggest problems last year were, in order;

                Injuries
                Special Teams
Discipline (Penalties mostly, but other things as well)

People want to only say what the four letter network tells them "Oh, it's Romo's fault. TO got in his head!. He's too busy with his celebrity girlfriend! The team was split!" and then in the same breath they like to point out how the team is gonna suck ass now that TO is gone. I find it hilarious.

I'll tell you flat out why they'll be better. First, like I said, is that the OLine should be healthy, which in turn means that Romo will be protected and healthy. Second, special teams issues have been addressed, starting with the firing of Bruce Read as ST Coordinator. Matt McBriar broke his foot and was replaced by some scrub off the street. McBriar's back at punter this year. That makes a massive difference on ST. Third, the offense is moving more towards ball control, as well they should when you consider what they have in the backfield behind Romo.

I can't speak for the discipline, because that falls on the HC and I think Wade Phillips is useless in that particular regard. But they're good enough to overcome most of their mistakes, even though I expect them to be toned down.

But anyone who says Dallas is gonna be the 23rd ranked team in the league based on the nonsense that happened last season clearly isn't aware of what's really going on.

I'll stand by it and say it again - If Romo and the OL stay healthy, they win the division easily.

BTW Crimson, Romo still owns Eli. If not for Patrick Crayton fucking up twice, he'd still be looking for his first win the the matchup.

in what way? dating celebrity cunts? eli may suck, but he has a ring and a super bowl mvp to his name. romo is still famous for fumbling a snap on a FG attempt.

Flukes happen. What can I say?

Hopefully this is the year. Also hopefully it won't get taken from him by other circumstances like in that fluke of a playoff game.

yeah winning 3 playoff games on the road and beating the undefeated patriots sure was a fluke. do yourself a favor and start coming up with excuses now for when romo chokes again.

If it wasn't a fluke, maybe Eli can beat Romo again some time down the road.

Because, you know, so far he hasn't.

I'll respectfully agree to disagree here. They had the most talented team in the NFL last year and couldnt get it done, so I'll wait to see it happen.

McNabb and the new weapons will have something to say about that.

...but this is worthless until the season starts.

EDIT: and until Wade Phillips is ousted from the HC position, I dont see the Cowboys doing anything.

And I'll respond by repeating; injuries, special teams and discipline.

Although none of those accounts for the embarrassment that was the last game. I'm hoping not to see that again.

The cowboys, imho, will be in the playtoffs this year as a wildcard team, with Giants/Eagles winning the division and the other being the other wildcard team

This division is going to be tough, with the redskins being the odd man out, though they are talented as well

Yet Eagles and Giants fans should/will be rejoycing this year
