    Fair.

I enjoyed the fight, neither would have had a major gripe IMO. Especially since I had it even.

He had a bigger weight advantage in the first fight, and he lost.

GSP was outweighed by the same margain tonight, and won easily.

It's obviously a factor, but it's a factor that's overcome routinely all the time. The nature of weight cutting will always lead to size advantages.

OK. I watched the Mir-Lesnar fight. Yes, the pre-fight hype was interesting. Yes, the combatants were interesting. But the actual match itself was more boring than a 0-0 soccer match.

UFC needs Lesnar to play the heel like that, because without it, that fight was booooooring.

I'll agree the fact that no one knew how it would end was interesting, but that and the hype overcame a boring-ass match.

If this was considered a great UFC match - and I admit I don't know what a great UFC match is - it doesn't even touch a classic boxing match or great pro wrestling match (even though I know it's staged).

Damned good night of fights. Not the best show ever, but did anyone really believe that it would be?

-thought that Akiyama took it, but it was close enough that I could see how someone could see it the other way.

-I have to admit that while I would normally be rather unhappy at a fighter who did what Henderson did at the end of the fight - and admitted that he did it intentionally. But given the context of the fight, I kinda enjoyed it. Bisping admitted to intentionally trying to get under Hendo's skin... I guess you reap what you sow...

-GSP... what can you say? The guy is a dominant monster. I really never expected him to able to take Alves down with such endless ease.

-that fight by Lesnar was probably the first time he genuinely impressed me in a UFC cage for the more than a moment. He fought very smart and contained, and he dominated. Plus, the man plays the heel perfectly.

It wasnt a great match, but it was a great spectacle.

Besides, why are you comparing it to a classic boxing match or great pro wrestling match? It was a MMA fight. This would be like saying it couldnt compare to a great NFL game. Who cares.

It wasnt a terrible match, either. It told a story. Lesnar was patient, as opposed to his usual "bull in a China shop" routine. He was clearly being cautious on the ground, respecting Mir's sub skills. Mir went for a knee bar, and an arm bar, but didnt even come close. Brock got comfortable, and pounded Mir's face in-both rounds. He had a plan, and he executed.

We've been down this road, dave. You don't like the sport. Part of it is you aren't educated to it, but that dosen't really matter if you don't like it.

FWIW, when I watch boxing, I keep waiting for someone to shoot or throw a low kick. To me, it's an incomplete fight, and i'm usually bored to tears. But hey, whatever gets you off.

I dont care if anyone thought the Lesner/Mir was boring. Lesner fought smart as hell.

I LOVED and I will repeat I LOVED BISPING getting the SHIT KNOCKED OUT OF HIM.

                              All that doesn't matter.

The UFC is trying to grow and attract fans like me.

I absolutely admit I'm not an educated fan of UFC style fighting, but I want to be entertained. All I saw for 8 minutes (ok 6 of 8 minutes) was Lesnar lying on top of Mir because he could.

The punch flurry at the end which stopped the fight was somewhat interesting, but otherwise this fight was one guy who lied on top of another for 6 minutes of a fight.

Yes, there could have been some strategy involved, but it was boring.

I don't dispute MMA as a serious sport for a second, but an entertaining sport? The pre and post-fight hype were more entertaining than the actual fight.
