Yea I'd be SHOCKED if the Flyers got Kovalchuk, they're right up against the cap and the players that should be traded (Gagne,Briere,Hartnell) all have NTC's, which I very highly doubt they'd waive to go to Atlanta.

I have a feeling Kovy will go no where at that price and he will end up walking at the end. Can't see anyone giving up two top players and a draft pick for as said, a rental player.

Honestly, some team out there may give him that $120M contract or the league max. He scores a lot for playing on Atlanta and having really no real solid person to play with him for years on end.

The Detriot Red Wings have traded Ville Leino to the Philadelphia Flyers for Ole-Kristian Tollefsen, and a 2011 5th round pick

And the wings put Ole on Waivers. Franzen is coming back and they needed the roster spot.

If they put Leino on waivers he would of been claimed.
