Found it funny watched a bit of preseason hockey and when it went to intermission I switched over to the baseball game and good christ baseball is boring as hell to watch compared to hockey.

    Leafs offseason training!

Can't find any links to the Blackhawks/Oilers game....watching NHLN right now. As for Baseball, saw the Red Sox give up a lead in the 8th...not looking good for them.

edit: Found a link from Hawks FB page.

I'm willing to bet that tonight's Jets/Blue Jackets preseason game in Winnipeg was louder than any game ever played in Atlanta. And though it doesn't mean much overall, the energy of the crowd really seemed to rub off on the players, 6-1 and Mark Scheifele made a very good case for making the team.
Finally back after a 3 year hiatus!

I hope people do not compare Atlanta to Winnipeg in the first year, because it will be very obvious that people will out number Atlanta in the Peg because it is the new team and they need to show it can stay there. You'll need to look at it in say 3-5 years if the team is still shit and are the numbers still up. Plus also, a large crowd at MTS is a small crowd to most NHL arena's, so the building has a lot to do with the feeling.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Sean Couturier is officially a Philadelphia Flyer. The team announced that they have signed him to an entry-level deal this morning.

The Flyers are over the 50 contract limit, so he will get the slide rule and get sent back to juniors.

Atlanta averaged 17,206 in attendance in their first year according to this website.

Just did a phone interview with Sting coach. Guy seems to be pissed with all the hype in this city about the team and how good they should be and blah blah. I think he's answered the same questions enough times.

Just got back from the Sting game. Media room and scout room are the same thing, so as I'm going through the line up, I see all the NHL scouts there. What I found odd was the teams that were there tonight to watch Yakupov. LA, Nashville, Dallas, Philadelphia, Columbus, Detroit, and a few others. Of those, Dallas and Columbus would have the best chance at the fail4nail. The others probably just getting it out of the way now.

Yeah very good just you wait until Gaborik returns to shitty Toronto with a real playmaker and scores 5 goals. Oh wait, he can do that with Erik Christensen. Make it 10.

Sorry Beauchemin isn't there anymore to give the puck straight to the Rangers forwards when trying to break out of the zone.

Gaborik will probably be injured by the time the rangers play the leafs anyways lol.

                              Incorrect.

He'll be injured in Toronto by an illegal hit from one of your talentless goons again. Perhaps it'll be Schenn this time.

Speaking of talentless goons, Dylan McIlrath survived the first round of roster cuts.
