I can't believe they got a 2nd rounder for this bum.

The Rams need to trade Jackson--NOW.

Lol....I was waitin for Leaf too.

Leaf you would know more than me, as you have seen him undoubtedly more than me. But with Wale playing well, (contract year) and more than like to leave and/or demanding high money, I dont mind this.

And also, Gaines Adams has never been fortunate to work with Rod Marinelli. I thought all the Rod M talk was just lip service, but seeing the D line play the way they are, I have to at least give him the the benefit that he can help Gaines produce.

Also happy cuz this means they didnt do anything INCREDIBLY stupid...like trading for TO.

        All in all....hmmm not bad.

Let's see if Marinelli can do something with Adams.

I just realized we don't pick until the 3rd round next year.

Wow I just saw his base salary the next 4 years:

                  2009: $900k
                  2010: $1.08M
                  2011: $1.1M
                  2012: $1.15M

If he plays anywhere close to his potential or even above average (hopefully because of Marinelli) then thats a GREAT deal for giving up a later 2nd round pick.

Good trade for both imo, the bucs get a second which they can use and the bears get a young, high potential defensive linemen

They could have waited until the end of the season and given up nothing for Adams when the Bucs released him.
                      Great trade for the Bucs.

This upcoming draft is going to be incredibly deep too.

                          Terrible move by the Bears.

The draft isn't deep, especially at QB and safety. But OT has some good depth.

bears fans who are happy: have fun watching him ran past the QB and take himself out of the play EVERY snap. thats the only move he really has.

It is going to be one deeper drafts in a long time. This is likely the last draft where rookies are going to get paid a stupid amount of money coming out so all the underclassmen will be coming out to make bank.

                                This draft will be deep.
