A game should never come down to being decided by the refs anyways, so if you put yourself in that position, you need to learn to deal with the outcome good or bad.

Favre caused that first fumble as much as AP and he threw 2 picks, one which is one of the worst picks in recent memory

That PI call was a good call, he wasn't looking/playing the ball so I understand why they threw the flag but that "catch" was not a catch. It was as clear as day that it MOVED when he hit the ground.

It would have been nice if the Saints offense could have made one big play on the last drive on their own. As it was, the three key plays on the "drive" were:

-A highly questionable spot on the Pierre Thomas 4th down run
-A ridiculous PI call on a ball that was clearly uncatchable, and may have been intentionally thrown away by Brees
-A highly questionable catch on 3rd & long to set up the Thomas 4th down play

The Saints were gift wrapped a win by the bumbling Vikes and incompetent offciating. Can't Brees or Bush or somebody just make a play?

They lost the game in Regular Time but since it went to OT the Refs pretty much gave the game to the Saints.

But more importantly I totally agree. He sucks. And he didn't care about this game! It wasn't a Cowboys game! I was just surprised that he even showed up to do a non-Cowboys game.

If the officials didnt keep the Saints drive alive 3 times in OT, the Vikes get the ball back against a softer than bread Saints D that Favre sliced up at will the entire game.

The Saints were awful in the second half. They had about 60 yard of offense, and couldnt put a team away that was begging to get blown out by fumbling on nearly every possession.
If vikes would have taken care of business in regulation, they wouldn't have lost. They shot themselves in the foot. Keep giving a thief an opportnity and eventually your shit will get stolen

                    Is Pete Morelli your dad?

I guess its nice that Perrera admitted there were some bad calls, but to not comment on the PI call is absurd, because it was the most botched call of the game.

I have no issue with the Meacham catch and the Thomas run, because too often I see refs overturning calls with instant replay even though there isn't indisputable evidence. For example, Pete Morelli himself made the worst call in NFL history a couple years ago in the Steelers-Colts playoff game when he overturned Troy Polamalu's INT and stunningly ruled it an "incomplete pass".

The Pass Interference call was a joke. From the replays I have seen, Leber didn't even touch Thomas. Thomas was stationary, Brees heaved the ball way over his head, and Thomas got his own feet tangled up when he turned to go after the ball. The ref right next to the play and responsible for the call ruled it incomplete. The ref 20 yards downfield threw his flag for PI. Pete Morelli, the spineless cocksucker that he is, allowed the flag to stand.

Couldn't agree more. I was watching the game in the dining room of the place I work and said 'what the fuck kind of call was that?'

I don't see how anyone with eyes thinks that was PI.

I just dont see why he would come out and say this. It just causes controversy and makes them look really bad. The PI called looked legit when happening in real time because all you saw was him fall backwards, but then after watching it you see there was no push or shove or grabbing. We all saw it so there is no reason to come out and say it so soon. Maybe after the season is over, but still too soon.

From section 609 in the upper deck, it looked just as bad in real time as it did on the replay. It was a bad, bad, bad call that put the Saints into FG range in OT of the game that decides who goes to the Superbowl. The fact that it was just one in a series of questionable calls on that one drive is what made it so unbelievable.

No, it didn't. All you saw was Brees trying to heave the ball out of bounds. Your first thought was "the ball was uncatchable". Your second thought was "how can the refs reward the Saints when that wasn't even really a designed pass pattern". After seeing the replay, your third thought was "Leber never touched Thomas".

That wasnt my thought because i have my saints goggles on while watching it. I thought he was throwing it away but i thought thomas would have made an attempt on it. NOW AFTER the replay my goggles fell off and I was like no way in hell even if he was running free would he have got to it or caught it.

I'm glad someone came out and admitted that they missed some calls, the one we want admitted though, wasn't. The Vikings did shoot themselves in the foot and Favre made a terrible throw that got picked off. Those that are saying the Vikes should of never put themselves in that position are right.

However, it doesn't justify giving the Saints the game on botched calls.
