First of all...please everyone get off this whole 'uncatchable' stuff

the NFL two years ago made it clear in meetings with officials...that if interferring takes place...and the ball is uncatchable or close to uncatchable then they at the very least are to call illegal contact.

Yeah, way to re-post what already has been said. Yes, the Vikings shot themselves in the foot. Yes, they fumbled too many times, and Favre tossed one too many picks. Even through all of that the Vikings were still in this game until the final interception, and drive extending calls.

That being given does not justify the refs complete and utter fuck up. I'm sorry but what a team does one on end of the ball doesn't make me look the other way when a ref makes a bigger and more costly fuck up. The Vikings had the Saints dead to rights, and the Saints were bailed out.

Of course Saints fan doesn't like to hear it. It was obviously quite relevant that the NFL actually admitted errors in officiating in the game that determines who goes to the Superbowl.

It's much easier if like in the divisional round, the Cowboys and Cardinals both lose by 31 points and then the officiating never gets a chance to come into question.
