Looking forward to watching DREAM. Should be great. There are some great fights on that card, plus you gotta love Japan for the freak fights.

Heard somewhere that apparently Canseco's "training" for this fight primarily consisted of running on a treadmill at the gym. He gonna die...

would make sense. rampage is gold in front of the camera though machida's english isnt the greatest. LHW division is stacked, dont wanna wait 5 months to see the title get defended.

That's the thing that bothers me most about TUF at this point... Putting matches on hold for months and months. In many cases, its not like they need the hype to make them a big fight either.

agreed. i understood why they would do it in the beginning when the UFC wasnt as popular and people were just getting into it but now the formula's just getting old, especially when they do it for title fights. people obviously know who rampage is and machida's popularity has skyrocketed the past few months, no need for them to go on TUF to hype a fight. the whole show needs to be re-worked cause i think the idea behind it of giving up and coming fighters a chance is still a great idea, it just needs to be done in a new way. i honestly haven't watched any of the current season or the one before.

I'm still watching, but I barely pay attention the episodes beyond the fights. I definitely agree that things need to change. I don't like the fact that its really just a reality show, when it could and should be about the fighting. From what I understand, it was clear at the tryouts for this season that they weren't looking for the most talented fights but the ones with the best "TV personalities". Junie Carter syndrome. Great way to build up the integrity of the sport...

From today it would be at least 8 months until they actually squared off if those two were to coach, if not longer. Also, Rampage said he didn't like the long wait the first time he coached and wants to keep things rolling and Dana wants to keep Rampage busy as well. So, I doubt if those two end up coaching on the next TUF. Personally I think they need to slow down on the TUF series, but that's just me.
