I may have said in the past that some wrestlers could venture into MMA, but I highly doubt ive ever had that conversation with you. Furthermore, how does that translate into me saying wrestlers would beat MMAers? Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar havent successfully ventured into MMA?

I was in the thread, you were talking with all of us, you were defending pro wrestling like a cornered kitten and you know what you have said in the past, you were throwing out names of guys who have no legit experience

lol @ using brock and lashley, they were NCAA champs, thats the reason they are good in MMA, not there pro wrestling experience

the only guys that do well were 'real' wrestlers is the past, also when a guy like Barnett reps 'pro wrestling' he is a catch wrestler, big difference from WWE BS, Barnett is a sub grappler with legit training

even Sak, he was a legit freestyle wrestler growing up, trained with legit catch wrestlers, etc...and had an awesome single leg

about the only thing pro wreslting (WWE stuff) will do for you is maybe make you tougher, but it more than likely hurts you in the long run because of the long lasting injuries, guys like brock would have been much better off skipping the WWE and going straight to training, but the money wasnt the same back than

Regardless if I did defend wrestling (as being athletes), ive never ever said that wrestlers could beat MMAers, you're simply talking out of your ass when you say that.

There are amature wrestlers that have ventured into WWE.. Kurt Angle, altho pretty old now, could prob do a half decent job in the cage. Sean O'Haire tried his hat at it. Theres a few other guys that im sure could atleast do a decent job. But never, have I ever, said the wrestlers could beat MMAers. Those words never came out of my mouth, or my finger tips for that matter.

Lol @ you trying to turn this into a debate with me now. Theres not a chance im going to try to defend wrestling against MMA, im a wrestling fan originally but ive fully converted into an MMA junky, wrestling is a sideshow at this point. But they still perform athletics.. they just dont compete as athletes. Thats not arguable.

I think Rob's point is that guys like Angle were wrestlers before becoming Pro Wrestlers. It appears that he is under the impression that you think guys like Jericho or someone with no wrestling background could also make the transition due to their 'athletic' ability

big difference with guys like Angle and Brock who were legit wrestlers in the past, of course those guys can do well, 'real' wrestling is 1 of the best bases you can have in MMA and there pro wrestling experience has nothing to do with it the success they have or might have

I think the Pro Wrestling goof balls (no offense) always get that mixed up and want to justify pro wreslting by thinking they can do well in MMA, if you like it, thats cool, but dont get it twisted with MMA skills
