Henry to NY is interesting. He should be able to score quite prolifically. His profile alone should help the league as a whole. Interesting that he's coming in at such a low point in his career, though. Different situation from Beckham in that regard.

Picking a club to support in "futbol" is different than almost any other sport. For one, there is no enforced parity like there is in North American team sports - so if you pick a mid-level club, you can end up supporting a club that may go many years between trophies. There is also the possibility of relegation to contend with...

Some of the big clubs you might want to take a look at...

England: Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Newcastle, Everton

Spain: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia

Germany: Bayern Munich, Hamburg, Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg, Bayer Leverkusen

Italy: Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Roma
