Canada has made it to the World Cup Finals exactly one time and that was back in 1986 when the tournament was held in Mexico. The team was built around a core of players who had won their spurs playing in the NASL along side some of the greatest players in the game. Now playing as apart of the Canada team, they went on their way to Mexico to share a group with France, the U.S.S.R., and Hungary. This is the story of the team.

This documentary was originally aired on Canada's TSN network in 2006 as apart of their World Cup 2006 coverage.

There's not enough time in the day to hate everything not related to the Italian League.

That said, there are a lot of things I do enjoy that aren't related to the Italian League and there are things in the Italian League I hate (Jonathan Zebina). Shit teams that have made it to the World Cup once might even be in that category, I just haven't found the right one yet. Maybe North Korea since they beat Italy 1-0 at the 1966 World Cup?
