I see the deadly duo's late nights on FIFA 11 have paid off.

You can really tell by their new found comradery. Mrs. Nolan's going to be making some celebratory kebabs tonight.

Going to be difficult for Liverpool to top last Sunday's performance against Everton. Never seen the team play that well before.

Because he end's up getting paid no matter what happen.

Worst case scenario in this little conspiracy theory is that the Glazer's call his bluff and ship him off to Man City where he earns 250,000 pounds a week or to Real Madrid where he earns a truckload of cash while winning every trophy under the sun with the Special One. Backfires on Fergie and Man Utd, but he still comes out at the other end better than he was.

I still don't think, if that were the case Rooney would be fine as long as he's getting paid. He's shown time and time again that he cares how he's perceived by fans, or at least he lets them affect him (see: World Cup). On top of that, he's putting himself in a dangerous position doing this, he already had a mob outside his house, things could've escalated a lot father. I just don't think Rooney risks all that for an extra 50K a week and to prove a point to the Glazers.

Like BP said though, no scenario really makes sense. It's impossible to tell what was happening.

Nice to get a win again, been to long. Also great to see Torres get a goal. The way the team came out in this game is the way we've got to be in every game.

We'll see if he keeps it up. However he looked really good likely because we were attacking and pushing more guys up. That pass he had to Maxi, who then hit it Cole was top notch play if only Cole could've finished it. But the touch on his goal looked so effortless.

The only thing more pathetic than Rafa Benetiz is Liverpool fans trying to delude themselves that's he's doing a better job at Inter than Jose.

                              Oh, and James Perch.

That second United goal was fucking ridiculous.

Nani thinks he was 'fouled' and grabs the ball in the box. Gomes obviously assumes FK, throws the ball down in the box to take it while waiting for his players to get forward. Clattenburg calls nothing, Nani comes back and scores a goal

I guess you play to the whistle, but that is an absolutely terrible non-call
