edit : Just saw it on skysports , around 2.5 million they are saying (upfront) to Villa

I think Phil Brown's clown antics last reason have KILLED his recruiting. Everyone in the league had to have seen his dressing down of the team on the pitch at Citeh (I think). Who wants to have a boss like that when you are getting paid 25,000/week?

And if I was an opposing team recruiting someone who hadn't seen that, I would just send the DVD

Plus the fact Hull are likely to get relegated next season, leaving Beye right back where he is at the moment (except at a well run club). Villa aren't going to be relegated, and should go far in the UEFA cup (unless O'Neill packs it in again for the league).

I dont think hell make that mistake twice. I needs to play more of his bench throughout the season though in order for them to be successful at anything,

Just watched the Italian super cup live on ESPN UK ..... Lazio beat Inter 2 - 1

Lazio went 2-0 up around 60minutes thanks to an amazing goal from Tommaso Rocchi , Eto'o answered back with a world class finish but David Suazo is probably the worst finisher I have seen in a long time

Watching "super mario" and Suazo play in the second half was like watching the Burkino Faso play , nothing but pace and poor on the ball ability

Pretty poor first half. Colo's been terrible, Ameobi and Carroll are a terrible strike force. We really need a good manager.

We have no shape though. I don't know how many times I've seen two guys move into the same space, run into each other, kick the ball away from the other one, and turn it over. You're supposed to tackle the OTHER team you fucking morons

1-1 draw .... didn't expect any better so I guess I will take it and for the love of god please drop Harper and Colo permantly . Glad to see Ranger got on , saw him play at a few under 19 games last season for Newcastle

I'll take it. A proper manager could fix some of those problems. Colo was terrible, Krul was great.
