The Newcastle game, while not great, is an acceptable result. If Newcastle were a 'normal' team, a 1-1 draw against promotion favorites West Brom at the Hawthornes would be a very good result to open the season.

It doesn't get much easier either. A very good Reading side next, followed by playoff darkhorse Sheff Wed and then Crystal Palace

So time for me to get back into the soccer mood since the EPL starts this weekend. I only follow the big three leagues since it is so hard to find any good coverage in the U.S. and out of those three, the EPL is my favorite.

Deportes often has some good stuff, you just have to listen to Spanish commentators. I've never found that a problem myself.

You should also be able to subscribe to Setanta US, which retained all the rights it had last year, unlike it's UK counterpart

In Milwaukee we have Time Warner Cable...they suck giving only FSC

But there is also ATT who offers cable and they have Gol, FSC, and I think Deportes.
