When Ovey is scoring 7 goals and the rest of the team has scored only 8, you know there is an issue in Washington. If the penguins can just keep Ovey to one goal a game, they should easily lock up the series. I said to wr50l at the start of the series that the goalie for Washington would be what kills them, and though he has played well, he has let it a lot of soft goals which are costing Washington games.

It is sad to think that Vancouver was 2:41 away from taking a 3-1 series lead going back to Vancouver, but now they are behind 3-2 going into Chicago. The west just has so much talent, that as showing with the Ducks and Hawks, 5th to 8th place teams are just as good as the top teams.

The Blackhawks are playing so good for such a young team. My dream Stanley Cup is Hawks/Caps.

PS - Why isn't there an NHL section?

They combined all of the random sport sections in Other Sports Talk, it sucks i wish there was the NHL Section back,

anyways, I like that the Hawks are doing good again, being a Wings fan, i hope that they advance to the West Final so it's basically no travel time, it'll be a rough series but whatever.

Tonight was the Bruins we've seen all year. Carolina has 0 idea what they're getting themselves into if they really want to start a physical series for these last couple of games. Tonight was exactly the fire the Bruins needed under their ass and I think they're going to find themselves regretting the can they opened.

Very happy to see the Blackhawks move on, even if it was at the expense of the last Canadian team still in the playoffs. I doubt Chicago can take down Detroit but it would be awesome to see.

Sadly for Chicago, I think their dream season ends in the next round, be it the Wings or the Ducks.

But it is impossible to not like Chicago. They are going to be fun to watch for quite some time.
