Very happy to see the Blackhawks move on, even if it was at the expense of the last Canadian team still in the playoffs. I doubt Chicago can take down Detroit but it would be awesome to see.

I saw Ward in a little scuffle with Cullen...Walker come from no where as the third player, pull Ward away, and nail him in the nose...all while Ward's gloves were still on...he had no chance to defend himself...ended up being a cheapshot that will probably cause Ward to have to sit out at least game 6.

The NHL should have done Walker a favor by suspending him haha...I'm sure the target on his back won't be small tomorrow.

No the Wings beat them out in the season series 3-2, it's not an excuse, but the last two games of the season, which we played against Chicago, we rested our main guys in both games, so whatever.

It's gonna be a nice series, but i know my Wings will prevail.

If you watch the video, ward is looking right at him making eye contact. He even gave him a little shot to push him away. While he is doing that, Walker is dropping the gloves. How is that a cheap shot? Sure, Walker got into the fight, but Ward punched Walker away, and walker just took his gloves off. Cheap shot is what Bertuzzi did. Walker's was not a cheapshot.

Sigh... the Canucks lost... all I can hope for now is 7 intense and bloody games for each remaining series.

I thought Vancouver looked like the better team in the early games of the series. The past two games the Blackhawks looked pretty good (at least on offense). Vancouver kinda blew it in Game 4 when they could have gone up 3-1 in the series with 2 more games in Vancouver.

Exactly, I wacthed it once on youtube and was like "pfft, nothing cheap about this. Ward just needs to learn to get the gloves off quicker". He'll learn for next time.

Vancouver is just missing that one element in their team. I think it is a big time scorer. They have a lot of depth players, and a fairly solid defence, they just need that one little thing that puts them over the top.

It also didn't help that the Sedin's were basically shut down.
