They should have Matt Hardy just keep it since he technically walked away with it at the tapings.

Kevin, that would make sense. This is Ring of Honor post-2009.

Meltzer speaks. I'm sure he's saving his full story for the Observer later today.

Even "the WWE pulled their offer" is premature.

It is possible that will end up happening. It's possible they won't pass testing if they get an offer. Everything is up in the air. Possible TNA will make an offer. Nothing is certain other than their contracts are up and if they get a better offer they're gone. If not, they'll be back in August.

How many tapings does ROH have before August?

I mean, the tapings they just had basically run through the end of July. This talk could essentially be all for nothing. As is they will be on ROH TV through the end of July.

The WWE would most certainly let them work a few more dates for ROH to drop the title and clean up any storylines...they let everyone do that before they report to Florida. TNA, because the second rate organization they are, would probably demand they take the title with them and start immediately.

They are free agents. They can start tomorrow, if WWE would like them to.

WWE allows guys to finish up their prior bookings. Briscoes have no more bookings with ROH, their contracts have expired and they are free to take any offer or bookings of their choosing. Would WWE allow them to go back to ROH for a couple of shows to tie up loose ends? I don't know. Maybe. But this is a little different than signing a guy who has two months of commitments on the table and letting him finish up. WWE does that as a courtesy for all parties since the dates are already booked.

I doubt they would because frankly they don't have to and it's not their job to clean up ROH's mess.

The WWE hasn't been ruthless in many years...could they start tomorrow? Yeah.

Do I think the WWE would ask them to? No. Do I think all parties involved do whatever it is they have to do? Probably.

TMZ.com has reported that C.M. Punk has gotten a restraining order against his mother, claiming she is constantly hitting him up for money and then threatens to kill herself if he turns her down. Punk, in legal documents, said he was trying to break off his relationship with his mother for more than a year due to years of abusive, harassing, and threatening behavior. He claims his mother suffers from being bipolar.

He said he's given her more than $100,000, but she became abusive and threatening when he told her he was cutting her off. She unleashed a barrage of e-mails about how he didn't care about his family, and threatened to release embarrassing information about Punk's arrests while he was in high school. He also claimed his mother threatened suicide to him at least four times last year.

Punk got a temporary restraining order agianst his mother on June 10th, and will be in court Wednesday trying to get a long-term restraining order against her.
