To be fair, in the past year or so, he has improved exponentially. Working with Ambrose, Rollins, Bryan, and other strong workers throughout that year+ will do that.
I don't think he is ready yet, either. I don't think he is a lost cause. Whoever has been behind his slow ascension has done a good job, IMO. They are giving him just enough time to shine, he is doing well, and as a result established as a bad ass. I have no idea if it will convert into a strong singles run, but, IMO, he needs another slow burn as a singles guy to get better. Throwing him into the mix as a legit star right away would be bad news. He ain't ready for all that.
