It really does show how crap contemporary guys are. No one can cut a promo like that.

Well that's an unarguable truth.

For the most part, most of the guys are given the same script from the same shitty writers. Some guys can make it work (Punk) while some (Cena) make it almost painful to watch.

No doubt, Rock was allowed to do his own thing with bullet points given to him.

That's what I don't get about this entire thing.

Why bring a guy on board to do what The Rock did in one night - kill two of the WWE's biggest stars?

It just doesn't make sense.

I'm neither a Cena or Miz guy, but no one can deny the WWE has spent a lot of money making these two guys the top of the show.

Why have The Rock come in and attempt to destroy that? It just doesn't make sense.

It's not destroying Miz. In that case, it's making him look like a dork....which is what the people think. Can't hate on it because he's knocking the heel.

As far as Cena went, yeah, I can see that. However, Cena will no doubt get his chance to go toe to toe verbally with Rock (I realize, he would be expected to crumble)...and after all, the kids aren't fogetting about Cena b/c of Rock.

The support for Rock against Cena came from the adult guys who have already been sick of him since 2005.

Not being scripted certainly helps. But I don't think anyone else manages to project charisma, intensity, and manipulate the crowd as well, all at the same time. Few in the business ever have, to be honest, but still... It really reinforces that the WWE limits their own talent on the mic so much now.

Just the fact that there's been a discussion in this thread for the past hour just shows what kind of impact The Rock. Although I'm not gonna lie, I can see how some peeps would think he gave off mixed signals whether he was staying after Mania or not. But I honestly don't see that happening, he'll prob stick around for the Road to Wrestlemania though.

I'm wondering if we'll FINALLY see the Cena heel turn that people have been clamoring for for years.

I can't remember a main eventer being a face for as long as Cena has been since Hogan, really.

As much as Id love to see him stay, you cant leave the movie industry. He leave people will forget about him. UNLESS he's coming back for a year to rebuild and re-create himself to go back into the movies with a new fan base.

If Cena (who I enjoy/the only time I didnt care for him was the whole rap deal) turn heel, who are your top guys to fued with him. Orton (been there) Morrison (they dont want to push him from what you guys are saying) R Truth (get real) HHH (he's a much better heel) and probably wont be around long.

I'm sure there will be a bit of a roster shakeup after WM. I can see Edge being "fired" after he loses at WM and moving to Raw. Jericho could return face, too.

very good point, but I thought Edge's contract was up soon and he was talking retiring so he didnt end up all messed up after his career.

As much as Im an UT fan, he just doesnt have much left. He's died and returned about 10xs now.

Y2J is a good possibility.

Im just not sold on Rtruth, I think he is there just biding time. I think he is terrible. They wont push Morrison to HW champ.

Im just a wrestling fan that use to be into it big time, but now I watch occasionally to see what happens. I just would like to see what he can in front of 15K instead of 500 hundred.

I don't think he has the look that the WWE would use in anything other than the midcard. Also I think his style of wrestling would be held back by the WWE.

This. You saw how quickly Senshi washed out of the WWE and they already have Daniel Bryan filling that undersized midcard guy role.

AJ is too good to have his style watered down.

Thats what Im curious about just to see how they would use him and let him do his thing or would he get held back.
