I wish more guys had those style finishers again. Jake Roberts DDT, Diamond Cutter, RKO where it seems like it can come out of nowhere. That's one of my biggest gripes with modern day mainstream wrestling is that you can pretty well to a tee guess, predict and see when a finish is coming.

Yeah, I hate when a wrestler always works their way into their finisher(Cena does the same moves before his FU or whatever its PG name is) but the RKO can literally come out of nowhere.

And that wrestlers worked toward the finisher.

Like when Ric Flair would work over the legs or Rick Martel the back for the submission. Or when the guy with the impact finisher was working the back and rib cage over all match long.

Key to a good match.

Love it when a finisher is death. Makes a match all that better.

Has anyone heard what the deal with Matt Hardy is? Reading some interesting stuff but it's from second rate sites, not the good people, so curious if anyone has heard what he did?

I assume we will see a Hardy Boyz reunion in TNA soon.

--Latest on Matt Hardy is that he's on very thin ice. The original word was that they didn't really want to release him because they didn't want the Hardyz reforming in TNA, but after this weekend and his subsequent video blog, where he broke every conceivable rule and did not look well (listen to last night's Observer Radio, which is a free download you can link to on the right hand side of the main page), the feeling is that they really don't care about him leaving that much anymore. Despite his claim that he wasn't taken off the road ("sent home" was the wrong terminology but it pretty much means the same thing), WWE confirmed the story to Newsday today.

Yeah Meltzer had most of the scoop on it. Basically sent him home then he made things tremendously worse by posting a video where he broke a ton of company rules and was more than likely drunk/high.

Yeah, Matt is a bit bland solo, but he did good work with his brother and I enjoyed the Matt Hardy 2.0 gimmick.
