I wonder what the Nexus plans to gain from helping Barrett now that he's got the title shot and their ban (the one that prevented them from earning title shots for a set number of months) is lifted as of last night...
Maybe Barrett will give them title shots if he wins the belt?Comment

The original motivation, was the Nexus guys were mad that the WWE powers that be made them do the keg carries and other stupid shit, so they were "taking over".
Of course, they also made cryptic referances to some sort of leader during the early stages, too. It's best not to try to make sense of any of this shit if you ant to just enjoy it, remember, they are writing it for 12 year olds who just want to see Cena & Orton kick peoples asses.Comment

And writing week to week too. It's the reason why Royal Rumble-Wrestlemania is usually the best. They actually look ahead and write towards a point as opposed to the week-by-week throw shit on a wall and see what happens method every other month of the year.Comment

EWR is fun, but its very basic in comparison to the later versions.Comment

I still found myself more interested in EWR even after playing TEW a bit.
I pick up the game a few times a year and usually play it for a week straight.Comment

Need help filling out a roster for an original EWR organizationComment

Sexy Star from AAA was at the FCW tryouts two weeks back in Tampa. At the tryouts, she did a match against New York Knockout Nikki (Toni the Top inWrestlelicious–those who have seen her have said she’s a great heel but absolutely doesn’t have the look WWE wants). She Nay Nay also tried out. The WWE reaction was that of the 63 people who tried out, paying $1,000 to be seen, that about 50 of them had no business being there. We heard they were impressed with the fundamental skills of the guys Lance Storm trained, one of whom was signed to a contract. As for Sexy Star, they thought her work was terrible, her English was terrible and they also thought she was overweight and wasn’t pretty enough without the mask. John Laurinaitis told the officials at FCW that when it comes to hiring women, the standard is if they aren’t pretty enough to be in Playboy, then the company wouldn’t want them.
This is from Meltzer, just some insight into what the E looks for in female "wrestlers".
Sexy Star is hardly overweight, btw.Comment

I don't expect any less from the WWE. TNA has at least tried to make female wrestling legitimateComment

Its the WWE.... what can you expect?
They have created the dumbest connundrum with the Divas... They created a dvision where the singular important aspect is looks. Appearance trumps skill, mic skill, even athleticism. And yet the PG product means they really can't use pure sex appeal to sell the Divas. So you have Divas hired soley for their looks who are limited in how they can use those looks to appeal to fans...Comment

Honestly, most casual viewers wont even notice she's gone, no need to keep such a minor player around who might end up in a bad situation at some point.Comment
