TNA should just cut the drag from the payroll because the "big names" don't mean shit, haven't done shit to improve their business....just go about creating your own talent. Cut the old shmucks.

The Old Schmucks own that fed now (both figuratively and literally) with little-to-no signs of letting go.

Dunno if Uncle Vince would put in the money to run it like he did with 'ECW on TNN' but it might be the best thing for everyone in TNA other than jumping back into the Indies.

      That or go overseas.

Vince is not sending money to TNA, it's an entirely different world. ECW was never his competition to begin with anyway.

but you are correct about the old fucks owning TNA...Bischoff and co. are in power and won't give it up....plus Dixie is a dumb bitch.

Vince didn't finance ECW on TNN or even finance ECW at all. That myth has grown into legend, but the fact is, Vince gave Heyman one modest five figure loan. Its even listed on the ECW bankruptcy documents. The idea Vince was money backing the company is simply not true.

CM Punk is now a member of Nexus after beating Cena down twice last week.

MFer now has an army greater than the watered down SES on Smackdown.

Mayweather was another bad move... why bring in a guy from a sport less popular than yourself? It's like WCW using David Arquette. Don't use a celebrity that doesn't elevate your product. WWE has always understood this principle until the past 5 years or so. The current "creative" staff is so thoroughly embarrassed by their own industry they think Pee Wee Herman elevates them.
I didn't think the Mayweather thing was all that bad.

I think he meant business wise. He didnt bring anything in, it was largely a bust in that regard. The angle itself was fine, in fact I thought it was well done and wasnt embarrassing at all.

Dot Net has confirmed that the TNA Reaction television show has been cancelled by Spike TV. The final edition of the show will air on Thursday night.

Powell's POV: That's a surprising move given that the show was doing a good rating for its time slot. I enjoyed the format because it gave the talent a chance to talk for themselves. The show was originally picked up for a 10 episode run, and then Spike renewed it again after the initial run.

I enjoyed Reaction. This is very disappointing.

I have no clue how it did business-wise.
But Mayweather did a great job making wrestling fans hate him.
I know I wanted the Big Show to kick his ass.
Of course, contractually, it wasn't gonna happen ... but Mayweather did a good job at Wrestlemania and a good job promoting the event.

It was considered a failure. A break even at best.

I agree that he did a good job, though.

                            IMO, the WWE failed again.
When I heard CM Punk had a big surprise in mind, I knew it was Nexus-related.
                            It was way too obvious.
The WWE should have just said CM Punk was calling out John Cena, then had Nexus join the fray after.
They blew that angle big time in my opinion.
I know it's difficult to keep secrets in the Net era, but they had a chance here.
Instead, they just made all of us guess correctly.

Keep in mind that they write this stuff to entertain 10 year olds. There are times that they try to fool the smarks (RVD beating Orton his last night in, for instance), but these days they generally don't give a shit how simplistic the angles are. This stuff isnt for adults or people who watch Mad Men or Boardwalk Empire.

                                That's probably true.
