Cole is fucking awful. He's not a very good commentator normally. But when he's doing his heel shtick, it completely takes away from the match. Punk's far more subtle heel approach has completely blown Cole out of the water of late, and having Jim Ross on TV a few weeks back simply reinforced how bad Cole has become.

I realize Cole is working a gimmick. Its a terrible fucking gimmick. I read people lauding him for doing a great job at being annoying and want to bash my head into my coffee table. Being annoying doesn't really take a great deal of skill. When its been done in the past - Vickie Guerrero or Jillian's singing - it was done in small portions. Cole is doing is constantly through a 2-hour show. Unless the purpose is to make people want to watch the product less, I don't get the approach...

He's reaching turn off your TV heel status which is bad and as Papa mentions you can live through a 2 minute Vickie Guerrero promo. Cole squealing for 2 hours is getting REAL bad.

Matt Morgan/Hardy/Immortal feud has been done pretty well.

Hooray for good booking in TNA!

For those interested, I found the PWG One Hundred event in it's entirety online.

I didn't think the feud was trash, but then again I like Matt Morgan, Flair and Fortune. It got off to a rocky start for sure but I like think it's gotten a lot better when they limited the Hogan/Bischoff aspect and limited to just Morgan and Fortune. And considering how much I've raged and shit on the show over how they set things up, the Matt Morgan/Jeff Hardy feud is actually getting somewhat compelling so I'm giving them props for actually getting something right. It's been simple and clean booking for the most part.

                  1. Jeff Hardy gives Ken Anderson a concussion.
                  2. Morgan objects with Immortal for mocking Anderson forcing him to wrestle with a concussion.
                  2. Morgan leaves Fortune and challenges for a title.
                  4. Morgan nearly beats Hardy for the belt, but loses to ref shenanigans.
                  5. Immortal feels threat of losing stroke with a Hardy defeat, so they have Morgan's former group to try and trip him up.
                  6. Morgan clears one of their obstacles every week, winning a chance to choose his guest referee at the PPV along the way.
                  7. Morgan teases legitimate selections for his guest ref, but he's finally looks to be in trouble and Jeff Hardy attempts to give a concussion but Ken Anderson finally returns to save him and he's given the position after a really good promo.

The whole storyline feels so out of place on because it's actually logical and consistent instead of the constant overload of gimmick match/shenanigans/backstage brawling that they do and hope something sticks. That in general has gotten ridiculous at this point. Brawling is all Samoa Joe, The Pope, and the broads have been doing these past few weeks and it just makes me weary and incapable of actually caring about any of them.

Now could all this good will I'm having simply be the result of a feud winning the tallest midget contest? Most likely. It's not that great of story and is basically a holdover feud until one of big names get ready, but it doesn't take away the fact that's still been well executed, especially for TNA. Morgan's gotten over as a face, nobody has been made to look like an absolute joke and Jeff Hardy hasn't tarnished his heel status because of the sheep in the Impact Zone.

However, this compliment could go right in the trash after their PPV, where they have a tendency to swerve and ruin everything.

That'd be immense though. However, you gotta have everybody on the same page.

Majorly disappointed with the dude coming out to Goldust's theme to not give the erotic rub down of the body and deep breath in.

We did see some Mr. Perfect and Bret Hart, which was nice.

The best was the asian couple coming out to the old ORIENT EXPRESS music. Yes, I popped for that.

Talking your wife into being introduced at your wedding to the fucking Mr. Perfect theme is the ultimate win. The groom sould have tossed a hand towel behind his back and did the gum spit/slap, too.

When MVP got released, my first thought was "this guy is going to be fucking awesome in Japan".

He even twittered "Time To Go International".

But then I realised that he was an ex-con, and probably won't be allowed to enter the country. I wonder if he realises this himself.

He's always dreamed of working in Japan, so I figure if he wants to go there, he'll be able to get in through whichever promotion. Connections?

He has said in the past he's not allowed into Japan, but perhaps WWE just didn't want to hassle anyone to get him in on tours....?

                            Jeff Hardy at it again

                            From F4W:
Jeff Hardy was nearly pulled from tonight's show and they were going to do a substitute title match stripping him of the title due to concern about his condition when he showed up at tonight's event.

He did do the match and they didn't change the title.

Hardy's next likely to be postponed hearing on his drug charges is scheduled for Wednesday.

Joe's contract with TNA expired a little bit ago and he supposedly signed something recently to allow him to work shows since then (including TV).

Sounds like they're working on a new long-term deal.

                              Say it ain't so Joe.
