Unofficial but a little birdy told me that TNA's Hamada was released before a recent taping.

She wasn't being used at all, which was unfortunate.

If there's anymore need to compare TNA to WCW (and Pro-Wrestling in GENERAL), it's that for all the name wrestlers out there from the past and present, there's a MILLION others that will never be used in the capacity that we feel they should be.

Yeah. She was one half of the Knockouts Tag Team Champs with Taylor Wilde, but those belts have been irrelevant for ages and Taylor Wilde only seen on Impact once a month for some shitty irrelevant mixed tag action.

I don't have the problem with women's wrestling that some do, but I don't have a problem with burying the women's tag titles. The segment of people who enjoy women's wrestling is small enough that a singles title is more than enough. TNA's roster is already too big with too many names to spend time on a title people wouldn't give two shits about if it was pushed well.

They took on the women's tag belts at a time when the prevailing thought was they'd get another hour of TV for just the women...funny idea, and terrible at that, but that is what TNA is working with.

That was at a time though when TNA women were getting the highest rating night in and night out.

                          Yup.

Then when Hogan and Bischoff came in, they basically got rid of the women sans a select few.

                            Fixed.

I love how Gail Kim was a proven ratings draw for TNA, unlike all of the indistinguishable ho's on the WWE roster, so WWE signs her and does absolutely nothing with her. I forget she's even there until I see her make her monthly appearance.

                              Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong.

I miss those days so much.

Ehhhh, more like Kong was the draw and Gail, who would be her antithesis, was along for the ride.

Either way...Gail goes along with the Christian Cage school of thought...would rather curtain jerk in the E than be a star of the Impact Zone.
