    That was simplistic booking, too.

Wrestling booking, at its core, is basic story telling. It rarely gets more complicated than it already is.

The key to this angle will be whether or not Punk can use Nexus as more than just a group of thugs like Barrett did.

Cena's already gone through the motions of having to get a Super-Group together to fight Nexus to being under the thumb of Nexus to tearing Nexus down Guerrilla/Gorilla-style by himself...

What is left other than getting in Cena's head better than Barrett did with making Cena his bitch?

If Punk wants to win this feud, he's going to make Cena question who is he is as a person and turn him towards Punk's way of thinking...

Which is to say, become Punk's thrall as well.

...which won't happen as this is PG-WWE and Cena will win in the end by the end of the month.

And after all I said about Punk and Nexus and Cena...

            Blatantly stolen from 411wrestling:
According to some fans in attendance at the WWE event in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, John Cena seems to have injured his leg in his cage from the Wasteland finishing move in his match against Wade Barrett.

Their main event match was back and forth and consisted mostly of Barrett attempting to escape and Cena stopping him. Around the 20 minute mark, Barrett got Cena in the Wasteland and dropped Cena on the mat. Apparently everything stopped and the trainers came to the ring and were talking with Barrett and Cena. After that Cena put on a Lebell Lock hold that wasn't the STF, Barrett tapped out, and left the ring quickly.

The announcer came out and brought the mic to John. John said "I got a little beat up tonight and if I need to take some time off I will but I will not be carried from the ring."
            - John Cena's injury at the Wilkes-Barre house show appears to be a legitimate injury. After Wade Barrett began climbing the cage, but stopped as Cena didn't follow him. Cena needed the ropes to get to his feet while Barrett pretended to have his leg stuck in the cage. Cena countered a punch with a submission for a quick tapout. After the match, Cena thanked everyone for coming and said he may need time off, and he appeared unable to put weight on his leg as he left.

That's a very unfortunate thing and I wish him the best. However, the less RAW is centered around John Cena, the more I enjoy it. I just hope this doesn't completely fuck CM Punk/Nexus. They could use this time to build Nexus to being credible again.

Then again, they could just bleach Darren Young and give him a buzz cut.

This just in: Cena's not dead in the water yet...

While I wasn't hoping the man's career had ended, Cena being out would have legitimized Nexus a little bit.

They'd have to accept that Barrett technically got his revenge versus putting out SuperCena themselves though.

And 'Punk joining Nexus' would have been another page in the annals of "What Would Have Been?" wrestling history.

Punk and NexSES vs. Wade Barrett. Or maybe Barrett taking Otunga's role of right-hand man, making the group more dynamic and finally putting that waste of space in the backburner where he belongs.

Reports say Awesome Kong signed with WWE.

If so, I hope they don't make her change her look or name drastically. She would instantly be over as the monster heel.

                      Good time to re-"Fire" Cena:P

@Dave- I didn't have a problem with the angle, per se, but business wise, it was a poor move.

                              @ TNA.

Making Elijah Burke a dogfighting, drug dealing heel? SERIOUSLY?
