these "Beat the Clock" matches should be 10m Time Limit.

I get the gimmick of the match but I see only one thing when I watch them:

If the guys in the ring can fight for less than 10 (to even 3 minutes at times or less...) minutes and finish bouts... why don't they do it more often?

People in this very thread mention things like Big Show using a Knockout Punch and the need for him to use it earlier (like he did against The Good King Broski himself)...

If you have a quick finisher, you should jump at the chance to get it done in the ring that much faster.

Then again, this is a sport where the endings are scripted and those who can go as long as a hour should rightfully do so, so what do I know?

I can stomach inconsistency (for the most part) because of the level of talent a promotion has.

Indies, local access, PPV/iPPV, cable and global feds...

Being older and having spoiled wrestling for myself a long time ago by falling in to the camp of those who wanted to see what was going on backstage (411), I still dig seeing crazy matches go down;

I like seeing newer guys come up from the ground floor to become champ;

I even like seeing old dudes I recognize come back for appearances when it's warranted;

But every once in a while, I sit there with a sour demeanor after seeing a shitty skit or bad match with dudes I don't even like in the ring.

And I watch anything.
