The bars that currently show the PPV's will obviously buy it. But how many of those 100,000 regular buyers are bars? I don't think many others will hop on.
    I don't disagree with you.

BUT...instead of PPVs costing 40-50 bucks or whatever they cost these days per head per the fire code now becomes 12-15 bucks her head, per fire code. Cheaper for the bar, and potential bars.

Considering the non-major PPVs do such shit business, but is one of their few sources of revenue, I can see them trying this new model.

Let's face it, what they are banking on, is converting RAW viewers into network buyers. How on earth they think more people will pay to watch WWE than watch for free is something I can't comprehend.

        I don't disagree.

The network idea is becoming a bit of a clusterfuck.

I don't understand how this didn't have any appeal as apart of the sports package or something and just unload their tape library.

I'm guessing a lot of it has to do with VKM's bravado.

Vince is not the kind of guy to be content making a modest profit being wedged between Fox Sports Southwest & ROOT Pittsburgh on the sports tier. He's delusional and thinks he's HBO.

The WWE is nuts if they think a million people will buy this.

They think FOUR MILLION people will buy this. One million is their break even bare minimum.

This reeks of Vince being the only one in favor of going balls deep like this. His entire empire was built on the succesr-or-die risk of WrestleMania I. When he gambles, he goes all in.

Without question this is a Vinnie Mac balls to the wall gimmick.

I think he WANTS to be HBO. If someone tells him he's not, he'd get pissed. Because deep down he knows he's not, and is insecure about it. I think he badly wants to be, but deep down, even he knows he isn't. He's going to fake it until he makes it. Which he probably never will.

So where is all this big mainstream press The Rock was going to bring? He was on Leno and didn't mention WWE once.

Generico's new name is apparently Sammy Sane.

                                What. The Fuck.
