Two reasons.
#1, you know they love to stick it to the "internet" fans, which is really stupid, because Danielson isnt an indy geek anymore, he's one of your 'Superstars', and the goal should be to get him over so he can help you make money.
#2, only the tippy top pushed guys matter in Vince's world. Underneath "champions" are no different than jobbers. The main even guys never , ever show a shred of weakness to anyone other than main event guys, which is why they have trouble getting new people over.
Danielson had so much momentum at various points, but they keep cutting him off. Same old story. He could be a player, but only if they want him to be. You cant naturally move up in the WWE, they have to had pick you. He hasnt been hand picked, so he's not allowed to get over. He's not the first, he wont be the last.Comment

As a first time viewer of ROH, give me your impressions. Production, commentary, match quality, the wrestlers, anything else you liked/disliked. Will you watch again? Better/worse than TNA/WWE?

Oh I know the reasoning behind it, doesn't make it any less retarded. They did the same shit on Smackdown when they had Randy Orton beat the shit out of Cody Rhodes. Someone they JUST gave the tag titles to. Not Santino, not Koslov, no you have him absolutely destroy 1/2 of your tag team champions and a young guy that you claim to want to get over.

I couldn't stop smiling when they kept zooming on those kids who looked so sad and started tearing up when Cena joined the Nexus. It was very satisfying.
I hope that as Cena continues this slow heel turn that he loses his superhuman abilities in the process. I'd like Cena a lot more if he was shown to be legitimately vulnerable and could be beaten cleanly.
I can't fucking stand the Bella twins. They're worthless and should be cut. Garbage wrestlers, zero personality and constantly cheat. They aren't even hot enough to where you could even overlook their glaring flaws. How these bitches get more shine than Natalya AND beat the Undisputed Diva Champions is insanity.
LayCool > TBP. They pull off the TBP's gimmick so much better.
Both of the American Wolves put on great matches last night.
I think Kenny King could be a big player down the line in singles matches.

As a first time ROH viewer I really enjoyed it. it reminded me of what wrestling was like back in the early 90s. Large emphasis on wearing down your opponent and picking your big spots unlike the WWE and TNA where every move has to be a high impact move to make up for their lack of traditional skills. Obviously the production was worse than the big 2 but that's not a bad thing. I prefer quality matches over pyro and crazy camera angles. I'll probably watch every Monday.

Kenny King was a Tough Enough also ran.
He was also a weekly TNA jobber when they first got on Spike.
He's a guy who really blossomed working in FIP back when FIP was the ROH sister/feeder promotion.
Which makes you think, why doesnt TNA cut just one of these old men who don't draw, and use that money to start up a developmental school/promotion? They copy WWE iin every other regard, and this is probably the one fucking area they should be copying.
Even ROH, on zero budget, always had FIP until the Gabe firing, but even still, they now have those Delirious promoted New Jersey shows where the students & younger guys get to work long matches. Even in Japan, NOAH has SEM, Dragon Gate has the original NXT, All Japan has the kids shows, etc.

I just found out I have old ROH shows on free On Demand through Fios. I'm watching the show with the 6 man tag main event Christopher Daniels and the Briscoe Bros vs House of Trurh and Roderick Stong.
