Yeah, I think thats why they left off Richie Steamboat & Tyler Black or Seth Rollins or Black Tyler or Henry Rollins Black or whatever his name is, because they are basically punting this season with lames.

A lot of these names have been around forever and were probably never getting called up (G-Rilla). Ryan O'Reilly has been around for so long, he's quit, came back, quit again, came back again, was called up to ECW when it first started, worked the ECW house shows and was one of the Heyman guys with the helmets after the Bashams got canned, got cut, and came back again. He's got to be in his mid 30's by now.

A whole lot of bums in NXT.

G-Rilla would never get a call up otherwise. Big time stiff.

Ryan O'Reilly has been back and forth..Indy bum or WWE developmental to quitting the E because either he or Krissy Vaine were getting called up and they were getting married and they didn't want to separate. Some weird shit like that. Either way...bum.

      Saxton can talk...about it.

Some real bums here. Kept Steamboat's kid and Tyler Black off, for good reason. Hopefully Seth Rollins isn't Scotty Goldman'd.

They have Teddy's brother, Richie, Tyler Black, Bo Rotundo, and Mason Ryan (perfect "NXT Rookie" to pair with Sheamus)...but they come up with these bums.

I don't think they want to waste the good prospects on an internet show. They don't take it seriously, and far more effort will be going into Tough Enough.

Yeah, this is a complete throw away season. They aren't putting any effort in... as if they were putting any effort in for the third one either... Tough Enough is on network TV and its a money-maker for them (or it should be). NXT isn't.

I'd bet Jim Cornette has a hand in it.

Cornette's fingerprints are all over the "new" ROH product. Maybe that will change a bit under Delirious's booking, that remains to be seen.

Cornette gives you simple, traditional, LOGICAL booking. Smokey Mountain Wrestling was really predictable, but it always made sense and I still watch some of that stuff today. Cornette will never wow you with creativity, but I will take his LOGICAL simplicity over anything you see in North American wrestling these days. I can't say he'd be my first choice to lead my company, but he's near the top of the list.

I think, if I were to start a wrestling company, he may not be my first choice as booker, but he'd damn well be involved. I don't know how long I could put up with his childish temper and "OMG RIGHT WING FASCISTS!" rants...

I don't need creativity in wrestling. Creativity is what got the WWE and TNA in the shit direction its in. I think Cornette's best use would be to oversee whoever you do have booking and have him able to say, "Ok, this is fucking stupid. Stop it."

Think of him able to temper Paul Heyman and prevent ECW from becoming the trash wrestling it became. Keep Heyman's mind for the booking game, but eliminate the excesses.

PS: Is there any way for a guy to seriously follow RoH in depth if they don't have access to HDNet? I don't mind paying for the PPVs, but I'd really like to be able to follow the TV product, but it's simply not offered in my area.

He's a tough guy to work with but he'd definitely be in the VERY short list of guy I'd use.

Yeah, some of it's predictable, but that's not bad. It's predictable because it makes sense. There's no problem in that, no shame in that.

What I love about Cornette is he's a wrestling nerd. He's booking WRESTLING. He's not ashamed of the product and doesn't try to make himself think he's booking a reality TV show or a sports drama or any of that crap. He books wrestling and does things in wrestling that have been done countless times before, but they've been done because they WORK.

Heel Michael Cole is not working. Abort now.

It doesn't help that he's only heel half the time. The moment Cena shows up, he's 'face again. Christ it's annoying.

                        WWE cut MVP.

Sucks but I guess it's better than doing absolutely nothing there.

And to think, the man could have been a bonafide main eventer had he not mouthed off to a piss test taker.

Cornette is awesome. He'd be my #1 choice to run a show.

A shame about MVP. He was great as a heel. He's almost 40, maybe TNA will take a look at him.

Isn't that about 10 years too young?

Anyways, I have a guilty pleasure to admit.

There is a reason I still watch WWE programming despite how much it sucks.

I'm a Sheamus mark. It is right and proper that he is King of the Ring. And it will be right and proper when he breaks 'Takers streak.

                            Thank you.

The last great semi-push he had was when he was traded to RAW and immediately set his sights on Orton's title...

After which he eventually jobbed down to being Mizzark's Tag Partner.

                                He will be missed.
