I mean, not sure you can put Duggan in the same class as the other guys you mentioned, who were all main eventers.

"As far as getting the crowd involved"...all Duggan did was yell HOOOOOOO and the crowd would respond with HOOOOOOOOO and USA USA USA.

It's not as if he went out there, cut a 10 minute promo and was able to control the crowd and have them in the palm of his hand (as the very top guys have done...Austin, Rock, Flair, HBK, Hogan). I'd put Cena in the category even though I find his style deplorable and insulting (when he tries to be all cutesy with his shit). These guys are in a class all unto themselves.

I like Duggan going in. For a guy that never won the belt everyone knew who the heck he was and he had a really interesting and entertaining career in the WWF.

I don't care about him going in or whatever, Koko fucking B Ware is a Hall of Famer, so the floodgates are open.

I'm just reiterating that I don't like him

In college, there was a chick with the last name Duggan...we called her Hacksaw.

Old Hacksaw is what he is - l mid-card fan favourite.
And he gets his place in the Hall for longevity.
OK, he wasn't Bret Hart as a worker, but he comes from an era where every wrestler was different and brought something unusual to the table.

Good for him. The people liked him. Regardless, RAW still sucked last night, it was the huge disappointment only followed up by Carmelo gettting what he wanted and getting traded. I thought can this night get any worse?!

Im actually still pissed about it and didnt the Undertaker fuck up last night. I mean the door opens and I actually didnt think it was him, the guy looked to be short and fat with long bushy curly hair. I thought it was really going to be someone else, then he steps and you see him and all of a sudden he is standing on the stage. OK. But where did he go then? then he reappeared.

HHH in my opinion is just a spotlight stealer. I still think he will hang around long enough to win more world titles then Flair.

Everyone know he is married to Steph and have 2 or 3 kids, have an angle where he tries to knock Vince off to take over the company.

No spotlight stealing really. I'm not an HHH fan but the main reason is the match no matter who Taker is going to face is not going to be good. Taker can barely go anymore, that's why they'll likely interject HBK into it too.

Enough things that happen outside of having to actually focus on the ring work the better.

I thought it was a pretty solid Raw, btw.

                      My thoughts exactly.

The WWE Hall of Fame is just a gimmick to draw more money out of people. Debating it is worthless. As they run out of big names. To put in, more bums nlike Duggan will make it. Vince loves those 80's mid carders, look at the HOF roster and you can clearly see Vince's vision of what was his glory perikod.

And for the record, Duggan always sucked. Mid South, WWF, WCW. I've never seen a Duggan match or promo that I would want to see again. He was one of those guys that made you cringe when non wrestling fans were in the room, judging you for watching this shit.

Really, I guess I just had my hopes set on something that was never going to be delivered. I liked Cena's opening, Wade Barret to envoke the rematch - arent they are Smackdown? and he just seems to have lost whatever stroke he had before now that the nexus is in two groups. The Miz beats the tag team champs in three moves and Slater looked lost trying to decide if he should go in and break it up.

I guess Im just a HHH hater anymore too. I dont know how people were that excited for UT to come back, everyone knew for weeks not a big surprise. Now if Sting would have lowered himself down from the rafters or appeared in the ring and beat them both with a bat then we talk.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan made the hall of fame because he was a pioneer. Before him, a man with Downs Syndrome never would have been able to make it in professional wrestling.

I doubt the WWE ever lowers someone from the rafters after the Owen Hart tragedy
