I understand that i'm not exactly the prime demo, but I wouldnt watch John Cena wrestle The Rock if the match was in my back yard. Absolutely zero interest.

The difference is Rock and Cena will lead to many hundreds of thousands of PPV buys...

Rock and Cena in a match on PPV = Guaranteed buys.

People still want to see the Rock wrestle a match since he never officially "retired" in the way you see other legend-type wrestlers go out (HBK, Flair, etc.).

Cena would pretty much draw in the kids/female demographic while Rock would bring in fans of his era.

That and it would be like when Cena fought RVD at One Night Stand... he'd get boo'd out of the building.
