So Dragon Gate is reshuffling the deck again.

In a shocker, Open The Dream Gate champ CIMA was double crossed by his Blood Warriors stablemates and booted from the group on the last Infinity.

Now comes this news, as taped for Infinity was a 72 MINUTE WAR GAMES STYLE ELIMINATION MATCH, Blood Warriors vs Junction 3, losing unit MUST DISBAND.

I avoided the spoiler, and suffice the say, Bart Scott Cant Wait to see this.

It was time to shuffle the deck. Essentialy the entire roster (aside from a few lower card guys and Don Fujii) was split into two gigantic factions. It was fun for a while, but was starting to get to the point of being stale, especially since Blood Warriors basically dominated the whole deal.

Can't wait to see how the dust settles and where the new power lies. Akira Tozawa is positioned as the big star for 2012, and it is well deserved. The guy is flat out awesome.

SMASH, The Japanese promotion run by former WWE and ECW star Yoshihiro Tajiri, announced that they would be shutting down operations this March. Tajiri noted that the company was closing due to "creative" issues within management and all shows through March would take place as scheduled.

The word making the rounds in the last week has been that WWE has reached out to a number of Cruiserweight style wrestlers that had worked for the company in the past for their planned Cruiser series that would debut as part of the WWE Network. While nothing is confirmed, Tajiri would fit that bill.
