Survivor Series matches seem to all follow a similar formula which, in addition to the number of eliminations, makes the whole thing very easy to forget.

Has there ever been a good traditional Survivor Series match?

I can't recall a good, nevermind GREAT one.

The concept is awesome...just don't recall a great execution of it.

War Games was a semi-similar concept that has delivered great matches plenty of times. Survivor Series...not really.

Tonights opener was really fun.

I love the traditional elimination match. The tag team 10 man matches on the first two shows were good. Hogan vs Andre was fun. Lots of good ones, but no great ones. When booked properly, you can tell a million stories with these matches, and in the early days they did just that.

If Big Show didn't go Full Retard before Wrestlemania, Ziggler doesn't become the MitB Winner, Barrett does.

No reinvention of his gimmick, buddy's probably the new champion instead of Punk right now.

That being said, at least he's not strapped with a dumb name like Ziggler or a bad gimmick like Ryder.
