I was thinking about something today... Kane has wrestled more matches, or so i've heard, than anyone active in WWE right now. Vince likes to give veterans the obligatory Championship run, IE Big Show later in their career just because of time in and shit so i was thinking when will Kane get his. I'm sure he's only got 5 more "good" years in him and would the fans be willing to accept him as a champion?

      Kane is awful.

I don't hate him, because he seems like an A+ guy and he doesnt take himself seriously at all...but, god damn Kane matches suck.

I think Vince in a way understands that Kane can never be THAT guy again. He's gotten a lot of main event chances over the past 4-5 years and each one has been worse than the other.

Big Show, while not great in-ring, is an awesome talker and can really carry a main event. Kane has never, ever shown that ability.

Big Show is a legitimate main eventer...I know W2B hates him, but he is a complete package for a guy that big...he can talk, he's got charisma, he can play a good heel or great face, and he is carryable to a good match when he's healthy...hell, he had a good one a few months ago against Lobster Head.

There is a curve I'm using, obviously, but I can buy The Big Show in the main event or as champion any time.

Kane...you can put him in the ring against Danielson and it'll still be the drizzling shits...his heel persona is still stuck in 1998 and still sucks...and, this is coming from someone who thinks he has never been more entertaining than he has since the summer to now as the serious side of a comedic tag team.

Kane, the one note gimmick that lasted over a decade.

Re:Big Show. Im burnt out by his 1,435 face/heel turns and his random switches from comedy guy who loses to mid carders, to unstoppable killer. Im over him. And his finisher is the worst and for whatever reason I cant get past it.

In the pantheon of big men, Big Show is about a million times better than Kane. Fuck that guy.

Right. That's how you have to look at it. I hate Big Show, never been a fan of him and I'm bored to tears by him.

I'd rather watch Big Show main event the next 100 WWE shows than to see Kane main event one. Go back and look at the last Kane/Undertaker feud and the matches they had. Unwatchable.

Hiroshi Tanahashi did an interview in Shone Young Jump Magazine talking about Karl Anderson, saying that many New Japan wrestlers and officials are worried Anderson will leave for WWE at the end of the year when his contract expires. He said that Anderson told him that he loves working for New Japan and already turned down Matt Bloom (Tensai) when he contacted him about reforming Bad Intentions in WWE. Tanahashi said that he expects Anderson to sign a new contract with New Japan, and said he was a main event level breakout star, and in particular pointed to his matches on 8/12 and 10/8 with Kazuchika Okada and on 11/11 with Shinsuke Nakamura. He said he'd like to do a big show main event title match with him.

RE: Big Show...I don't like the way he's booked...a guy that big should always be a monster...I'm just saying, he's a guy you can slot at the top at any time and I buy it and I don't think he's the drizzling shits...there is talent there and he can be put into something somewhat compelling and with the right guys, have a decent match.

I think he should be an unstoppable monster who hardly ever loses, and when he does it means something. As it is, he can cut all the mean promos he wants, but to me after all these years of being goofy & shit, beating him means nothing. Beating Andre never stopped meaning something until he was so old that he couldn't walk.

I know its not 1986 anymore, but when Big Show isn't involved in a key angle, he should be winning battle royals and beating three jobbers at once to keep him strong. Throw in a few tag team runs with another monster, and even in the weekly TV era you can find creative ways to do it.

I don't think he's terrible, but I personally have very little interest in anything he does. It's like when Sami Callihan comes on the screen in DGUSA or Takeshi Morishima in NOAH. Meh, i'll sit through this and not care.

But let's all be honest, his punch is one of the worst finishers in wrestling history. Not because it looks bad, but because it makes absolutely no sense.

TNA should use Matt Morgan the exact same way

Agreed. Normally my favorite finishers are the ones that can happen at any time with little to no set up (Diamond Cutter, Superkick, etc) but his punch his ridiculous, escpecially seeing how he uses identical non knockout punches about 30 times a match

I always feel like Scott from Austin Powers when watching Big Show.

Just punch him in the head! Why are you fucking around? PUNCH HIM IN THE HEAD AND END THIS.

Right. But somehow THIS punch is much more powerful. Beyond stupid. I hate it.

If they wanted to make it less ridiculous he should do a majority of his offense in the match left handed, setting up for that "brutal" right handed punch
