Meltzer/Alvarez talked about a recent HBK interview (can't find the original source) where he tells of a recent conversation he had with Vince about a "particular" wrestler (Meltzer believes it was Daniel Bryan). Vince just doesn't think he can make money with him, Shawn replies 'you said the same thing about me' and Vince shoots him down.

But, if true, wouldn't be a surprise.

If Vince doesn't think he can make money with you, he will make sure he doesn't. Weird mindset, but what can you do.

It was fine as a building point but who thinks he's a weak link anymore after he beat a team that didn't lose for a year and one of the biggest stars in the company in consecutive weeks.

This video is picking up a lot of steam. I found it amusing.

VOW guest Darin Corbin currently has the honor of seeing that naked often.

They are doing this at some random bar (the same one that did the latest Resistance Pro match) and my buddy saw the poster and said "looks like Truth Martini's booking his own stuff and is using the ROH branding". I was surprised as hell to find out, no, ROH is actually sponsoring this. It's very weird. I will not be in attendance mainly because that bar is one of the worst places ever.

It seems to be some sort of variety show or different take on wrestling. Jimmy Jacobs is going to sing. Delirious is going to wrestle. The refs will not wear pants.

                          Jimmy Jacobs will be there.

                          Thus, I will not.

                                Hmm...

One of the reasons WWE has brought in so many of the top indie guys is that Jamie Noble keeps up with that scene and he’s the one who recommends the guys. Most of the other people in the company in power would have no clue who the people on that scene are.
Everybody heaping praise on Triple H for finally hiring the top indie talent that should have been hired years ago, meanwhile it seems Noble is doing the grunt work.

Still, the directive has clearly changed, at that comes from the top.

I find it embarrassing that "most of the people in power" have no clue what's going on outside the WWE. At minimum, they should have a half dozen people whose job is to specifically keep an eye on non WWE talent and send tapes to whoever is in charge. They should have a TNA/ROH person, maybe split the indies into sections of the country, and somebody who watches international. How is this not happening?

They are extremely lucky Noble likes wrestling (he better not tell anybody he actually enjoys this stuff, or he's fucked), came from the indie world, and is probably friends with a lot of people and still has connections that keep him invested. Otherwise, who would be paying attention?
