PWG Is Your Body Ready? Review.

              Read it.

Live (well, not really) from American Legion #308 in Reseda, California, its PWG's Is Your Body Ready?! This event took place on June 15, 2013. The DVD was released a little over a week ago, so here we are with a review. As usual, Excalibur and his cast of characters are on commentary. Coming into the night, this will the final PWG show for both Samuray Del Sol and Sami Callihan. Both will be reporting to Florida very soon as they are expected to join the NXT roster and start their new journey with the WWE. Guys on their way out always deliver strong matches and get a good curtain call so I'm pretty excited to see what these guys can do.

Rampage's Camo 3-Piece Suit is simultaneously stupid and awesome at the same time.

Mr. T can show up to a wine and cheese soiree or sneak up on rebels in South America...

TNA is using a PPV they're giving away for free to promote an MMA PPV fight.

A fight that when it concludes, will more than likely mean that Rampage and Tito will bolt immediately afterward.

Nothing like slumming it on TNN... err, Spike TV... umm, SPIKE.

SUPER SPECIAL RING ANNOUNCING for this HW Belt match between Sabin and Bully Ray.

Sabin's gonna die but it's been a good couple of weeks for cruiserweights to carry a title bigger than they.

Tito Ortiz helps/joins? Aces and Eights, Bully Ray gets the title back to NO REACTION WHATSOEVER and...

Nobody but Mike Tenay is surprised.

The TNA/Bellator relationship benefits Bellator 100/0 on the scale. It does nothing for TNA. It will add some buys to the Bellator PPV, how many is up in the air, but it won't be a huge number. But with what they expect to draw for that show, anything gained is a positive.

I was kinda hoping either Rampage or Tito would be hurt so it would totally fuck up the PPV and cause TNA to be ripped off the air.

At the most, it's going to take a match away from BFG, because you know they are now going to have "MEM vs A8s" with a teaser at Ortiz/Jackson. And it will barely beat DDP/Leno vs Hogan/Bischoff in terms of quality.

If there is one thing we can guarantee with TNA's hardore fanbase...they don't spend money.

The Brooklyn Brawler is gay??? Who knew.

It's 2013, I don't care if Darren Young (forget his real name) is gay. He's a good wrestling character, I like the Prime Time Players and at the end of the day, his life is his own business. Some will say he's just trying to capitalize on the times, but who cares? Isn't that the point of being an entertainer?

Not sure how the WWE handles this going forward in storylines, but it should be interesting. Not even sure if The Prime Time Players are booked for SummerSlam ... but if they weren't before, they are now.
