I'm with you, I would prefer that he stay. I'm no expert, but, I would think, you want at least 1 striker on your club that has a big body and a more physical presence in the box. Plus, he has had some great matches this past season. He had a day against Man U and Wolves...his header against QPR seemed to give us the spark we needed in the final few minutes to create that chance for Aguero's goal.

So today seems to be the day for Eden Hazard. He picked Chelsea, WTF? Chels? Not shocked he picked them, just annoyed it was down to wages and United didnt want to break their wage scale to get some business done. Here is what it came down to.

Given his interview last week, wonder how he chose Chelsea.

        a) Playing position - Possibly but they have Masa. - Advantage United
        b) Playing time - Again possible, but they have Marin, Ramires, Malouda and possible Hulk. - Advantage United
        c) Stablilty - Certainly not. - RDM is still not hired.
        d) Manager believes in him - What manager? - Still not hired.
        e) Developmental - Who have Chelsea developed? - Dont know.

All that equals one thing. But Chelsea have offered him the double the wages.

Salty, but thats ok, cuz United will spend a third of that on Kagawa and develop him into a world class player.

Funny, 1ke... I saw the announcement from Hazard and had the same basic thoughts. Down to money. Heard he was demanding upward of 150k per week, which is a massive wage packet for someone who hasn't really proven a lot yet.

to be honest, I don't really blame players that much for chasing the dollar (or Euro or pound)... just wish they would be honest about it rather than trying to justify their decision with endless bullshit.

Eden Hazard to reveal which club he'll be joining this afternoon. Stay with #SSN for full details when his destination is revealed.

Nobody knows yet, I see people on twitter saying he is joining Manu and others saying he is joining Chelsea and others saying he hasn't chosen yet so

Eurosport just confirmed Chelsea. Ike, in terms of your list I imagine Mata will be central while Hazard will operate on the left. Malouda is shot and Marin can operate on both flanks so I think there is room for all of them

                            It's Chelsea for Hazard

Eden Hazard has announced via his Twitter account that he will join Chelsea this summer.

I agree Marin will be cover for both sides. But I thought the whole thing was Hazard wanting to play exactly where Mata is now. Thats where he is going to play for Belgium. With United Welbeck would have been dropped, and Rooney would be a true No. 9. All good though, Kagawa will come for 17 Mil tops, and play in that spot as well.

Apparently with the Chavs, he took more money and an extra year United didnt want to give(5 compared 4). Must mean as well, they have some solid plans for their manger spot.

Move Mata to the left then, he's shown he can play there.

                                A front four of

                                -------Torres------------
                                Mata - Hazard - Marin/Hulk

is pretty beast mode. Ramires doing the shuttling and Lampard playing a Pirlo style playmaker and that's a very good team
