Adam Johnson moving back home to Sunderland. Reports from the Sun and others making this sound like its done for around £10. I know he is a great talent for the club and a good story coming back to the Northeast, but is he the finisher SAFC needs? From what I've read his signing would allow James McClean a little more freedom to move inside or to the right winger spot, but where is that finisher? Steven Fletcher would have done a decent job... but right now they're looking at Louis Saha, Connor Wickham, Ji Dong-Won, Frazier Campbell, and maybe Sessegnon as options up front. None of those guys can hit goal consistently enough to make Sunderland a threat.
Think it's possible that those fucking Wolves decide to lower their asking price for Fletcher before the window closes?
