It was really an awesome show.

Not a single dud or stinker on the entire show. Several ****+ matches.

With a bit of reflection, this may have been the best top to bottom wrestling show i've ever seen, because ever match was either awesome or at minimum exceeded expectations.

I count five legitimate ****+ matches.

That picture is very deceptive, 3/4 of the upper bowls didn't have anybody in them.

They sold about 29,000 tickets, up 5,000 from last year. Way over 30,000 in the building, but at the presser they said from this point forward, no more fluffing attendance and they are announcing real tickets sold only, with no fluffing or comps included.

Yeah, until the first bad house. But good for them. This will likely be the #2 show in paid & total attendance in the world this year.

With the rest being easily ***+ outside of the opener, which was your typical "everybody gets paid!" match and even that wasn't a stinker...would have been the best match on 90% of RAWs.

It was a big show...and they all delivered like it was a big show. Everyone.

I am very glad I spent the $35. They earned it and delivered. It had legitimately EVERYTHING you could want. It had the BIG MATCH FEEL with Okada/Tanahashi...you had an MMA-hybrid match with Nakamura/Sakuraba...you had high flying in the Juniors Title match...you had legitimate STARS put on great work in the old man tag...you had dudes beat the shit out of each other in Makabe/Shibata...you had great classic ring work in Suzuki/Nagata...you had your classic tag match with KES/S+G...you had your token superstar appearances (Akebono/Sapp) that didn't DUD.

There are going to be very few pay per view cards that will be as good as this card all-time.

You have to suspend your disbelief, especially when guys like Yano & Iizuka are in a match. They don't do that shit in the big matches.
