Another fuckin instance of a player turning away from the play. This bullshit has to stop and I'm getting tired of watching these clowns turn around when they get into the corner then cry when they take a hit from behind. One of the first things we learn in minor hit hockey is to never turn your back to the play and never go into a corner or behind the net facing the glass. Apparantly NHLers forgot about this.

Leaf, that wasn't really a last second turn into the boards. He did put himself in a vulnerable position but Kadri had time to decent to not load up on him at the numbers. Kind of borderline but nothing outrageous.

No suspension or even a talk with Shanny. Ceci was quoted as saying that he purposely turned his body towards the boards to try and lessen the hit. If I was kadri I would of probably done the same thing.

Olympic thoughts.

I hate watching these early round blowouts. Team USA looks solid. Canada was okay. and Russia is not winning and their country will be dissapointed when they bow out in the semis.

What a game. What a game, what a game, WHAT A GAME. And it was still pool play, so there was some sloppiness. But still.

As we shootouts nightly, they can become mundane, but for some reason today was intense. TJ bossing it. Ilya cheeky chip into the top corner made me melt. All around fun.
