    STRAAAAANGE MUSIC!
    • Feb 2009

The new update for the PS4 (dunno bout the other systems) is AWESOME! Now you can actually scroll through the matches (and their finishes) by using the L1/R1 buttons instead of having to fast forward through the whooooole thing. Another thing, absolutely NO stuttering or buffering right now. Watching Angle vs. Brock, SummerSlam 2003 with ease!

New Jack has been edited out of just about all of the ECW shows he was on, with the exception of a few run ins and a match or two.

Probably because unlicensed music plays during his matches.

WWE had said all of the footage would be unedited. That hasn't been the case at all. Sid breaking his leg is edited, Over the Edge '99 with the Owen Hart stuff is edited, etc.

Did you expect them to show stuff like that though? (Owen Hart, Sid)
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

        "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

Well, they did make claims about it being unedited. And they did add Benoit back in.

            No.

But then they made the claim that nothing would be edited. Which has turned out to be completely false. Tons of little things like profanity bleeped out, etc, too.

Was going to buy the Network, but I'm between jobs right now. Hoping to get it soon. Been reading mostly positive things about it.

                Warner,

Any idea when we'll be getting some pre-PPV ECW events...like original November to Remembers, Enter the Sandman, Return of the Funker, Gangstas Paradise, CyberSlam, et al?

Full events? Unlikely. RF Video still owns the rights to those pre-PPV "big shows" as far as I know.

The good thing is most of those doubled as TV taping anyway, so Hardcore TV will show much of it when they get around to 1995, 1996.

Any chance Velocity or Heat ends up on the network?

Eventually, I think there is a chance everything they own ends up on the Network.

Velocity I would think is a lock. That show has a strong cult following and they know it, because there was a survey sent out recently asking what DVD you would be more likely to purchase, and "Best of Velocity" was an option.

Velocity is loaded with great matches and all of those gems with current big stars working as jobbers when they were indie guys. For whatever reason, those job matches were usually semi competitive, too.

I still own most of them...but they are on VHS...and I mean...who still uses that?

Main Event live, huh? Wow. Hopefully without the "live to tape" commercial breaks.

Mean Gene out on WCW PPV hyping the phone call hotlines, and there is a block of text across the bottom of the screen saying "Phone numbers are no longer active"

If only I could forget that number and remember something actually important. "Call 1-900-909-9900 and find out which former world champion is on his way to WCW!"
