The contact was within 5 yards, when the ball came out he disengaged and batted the ball down.

jim harbaugh has done such a fantastic job with his team. switching to kap halfway through the year and making that work. pretty amazing. plus maintaining the defense that singletary built and moving it into a SB defense.

atlanta showed again they are nothing but a regular season winner. the blew a 17 point lead after blowing a 20 point lead last week. they are a soft team and all their matty ice garbage has never been anything more than garbage. he is a good QB, but putting him on that pedestal after a year or 2 was a joke. win something first cause now you are perennial losers.

Fan stabbed outside Georgia Dome
A fan was stabbed in the neck during an altercation outside the Georgia Dome following Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Channel 2 Action News in Atlanta reported.

The victim, an Atlanta Falcons fan, was stabbed after punching a San Francisco 49ers fan, witnesses told Channel 2 Action News. After being punched, the 49ers fan stabbed the Falcons fan in the throat area, according to the report.

The Falcons fan was transported to a hospital, but his condition is unknown, according to the report.

The 49ers defeated the Falcons, 28-24, on Sunday to reach the Super Bowl for the first time in 18 years.

London Fletcher probably goes with Willis and Bowman in the game. Still have no idea why both of them made it and not Willis and Fletcher, nor how Gore got the nod over either Martin or Morris.

i didnt have an issue with either call. on 2nd down ryan got slammed and appeared to be a tad hurt. the roll out was probably used because they assumed pressure and wanted a quick hitter on the roll out. ball got batted. 4th down they went to right guy, i felt he was being mugged by the LB and a flag should have been called...but they didnt design anything there to make sure their guy was open.

probably should have called TO on 4th and discussed things more

they didnt call any roll out plays all game with Ryan, plus he is not an "agile QB" to begin with. yes; the ball got batted but why do something completely different than what got you down there to begin with.
on that 4th down call............he did get mugged but he was also doubled and was a tight throw. Meanwhile, Gonzo was wide open on a quick slant to his left, with the behind him in the end zone.

and on the 2nd down when he took that hit where Ryan appeared to look like he got was another questionable play call.

then again; they didnt score the whole 2nd half. even tho the INT and Fumbled snap from Ryan didnt help. that cost them the game since they were marching down the field.......

Yeah he definitely will be. The staff is going to have to very active this offseason. Defensive players, O-line help, a new RB, and TE is a MUST. If Turner isn't let go, I will snap. Grab Grimes for cheap and let Dunta go while you're at it.

Yeah that fumble changed everything. That drive could of at least ended with a FG which would of helped at the end. It still sucks to think without that mistake they could of possibly won the game.
