It's an NBA forum. Every time something happens that is news, you should expect a thread or talk about it. If you think it doesn't deserve its on thread, the more important news is that no one gives a fuck about what you think.

Tired of reading every thread and seeing "wtf did you post this?". Posting = more discussion which equals more activity on the site.

Seriously, its an NBA forum...everything NBA related should be posted. Why not? Its relevant to some people. Just because its not relevant to you doesn't mean you need to freak out and raise all of hell over it. If you don't have an opinion on the matter, than just bounce out of the thread. The amount of spam posts containing "omg who cares" or "wow" or "yes!" are ridiculous.

I just think there should maybe be a catch-all for insignificant NBA signings. A "Cavs waive Kinsey" thread drags down what might be a decent thread to the 2nd page, so it can get 3 responses 2 of which are "who the fuck cares"

Like I said in the "thread guidelines" thread I made about a month ago, the only NBA-related thread that shouldn't be made are Real GM rumors with no substance.

While Terence Kinsey isn't exactly a premier player , it's nothing to bitch about.

The only things that don't deserve their own thread are small rumors. If they are big serious rumors involving a very good starter or an all star deserve their own thread. All moves such as trades and signings deserve their own thread.

As said by Len the more the threads the more active it makes VSN look as long as the quality of the posts is decent or better.

I don't think one thread would bump a meaningful thread to the second page. If that one thread is that bad, it'd be on the second page soon enough.
