Bobcats start off December with surprising trade

This morning The Charlotte Bobcats agreed to send out the expiring contracts of Point Guards Speedy Claxton, Tyronn Lue, and a 2010 1st Round Draft Pick to the Bucks in exchange for Forward Mike Dunleavy, a 2010 2nd Round Draft Pick and Rookie Power Forward Shannon Anderson. It seems like a good move for the Bucks getting 2 Expirings and a draft pick and the Bobcats get a much needed scorer to hold the fort down while Outlaw is out. Dunleavy will be in uniform when the Bobcats face the Denver Nuggets tonight. Dunleavy was averging 13.1 PPG coming off the bench behind Michael Redd for the Bucks.

Dunleavy trade could Spark Bobcats back into Number 1 Spot as Celtics continue to Lurk in the East

The Power Rankings were annouced this Morning and the Charlotte Bobcats who were at 1 time Number 1 on the list have fallen to 4 with there record of 14-5. Tho getting back on track taking down the best in the west the Denver Nuggets Charlotte suffered 2 losses during the week and that made them slip into the number 4 Spot behind Boston, Denver, and Dallas but many are saying Mike Dunleavy could spark this team back to Number 1 and with the return of Travis Outlaw the bench for Charlotte just got good with Diop, Dunleavy, and Curry all coming off the bench the Bobcats are set to make a huge run in the East but the Boston Celtics are still lurking at Number 2 in the Eastern Conference Standings with the youth add on of Chase Budinger and newly aquired Matt Barnes it's gonna be a fun race in the East.
