Mutombo brings veteran leadership on and off the Court

In Possibly Dikembe Mutombos final NBA Season he is bringing his Veteran Leadership to the Bobcats even at age 44 he has began teaching the Bobcats young big men in Shannon Anderson who was recently aquired in the Mike Dunleavy deal and Emeka Okafor in practice how to handle themselfs on the Court and being a true leader. Dikembe Mutombo has been a great Leader for this young Bobcats team on and off the Court. On the court with his defensive awareness still there and off the court donating to local charity's. Even with his old age and the possibly of retirement looming Mutombo is happy in Charlotte even on a rebuilding team and a young team Mutombo has said that the team has turned alot of heads this season and from his view he is surprised at how good the Bobcats are doing. There has been rumors of Dikembe retiring at the All-Star Break but Mutombo has said he will continue to play the entire season and the Playoffs if the Bobcats make it there. Dikembe also said that he will Continue to play Basketball until he feels he has done all he can in the NBA and only then will he retire.

Outlaw to return against Hawks

The Day Charlotte fans have been waiting for for weeks. The Return of Star Forward Travis Outlaw. Outlaw annouced to the Media today that he is not 100% but will give it a go tonight against the Atlanta Hawks. Outlaw was cleared to play this morning but team docters stated theres a chance that he could re-injure the ankle. Head Coach Larry Brown stated Outlaw would be coming off the bench tonight.

Mavs move from 3 to 1 As Nuggets fall from 2 to 5

The Dallas Mavericks continue to ride a 7 Game win streak heading into this week as there at home to face the Charlotte Bobcats who have star Forward Travis Outlaw back. The Mavs will look to win there 8th Straight after coming off a 102-67 Blowout Win over the Bucks. Meanwhile the Denver Nuggets struggled this week with only 1 Win and 2 Losses falling to the Number 5 Spot. Expect the Charlotte Bobcats to continue falling as Travis Outlaw is just beginning to get his legs back under him and the Bobcats have Dallas, Cleveland, And the Lakers this week. I'll be surprised if the Bobcats manage to win even 1 of those games.

Outlaw will make start after strong game against Hawks


Bobcats Head Coach Larry Brown annouced today that Travis Outlaw will be the starter tonight when the Charlotte Bobcats face the Dallas Mavericks. Brown has stated that Outlaw looked good against Atlanta and has continued to play great in practice. "It seems as if he's back to 100% already." Bobcats Center Emeka Okafor said. Outlaw had this to say to reporters after practice. "I feel good i'm ready to play and I feel that i'm back to the shape I was in before I got hurt." Outlaw who played 26 Minutes against the Hawks and sat out the whole 4th Quarter proved to spark the Bobcats back into the game late even tho Atlanta won. It's a fact Outlaw is 100% healthy and ready to tear up the league like he was doing before he got hurt.
