Magic Deal Nelson to Pacers!

The Magic annouced today that they have traded Point Guard Jameer Nelson to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Point Guard Jamaal Tinsley and a 09 1st Round Draft Pick. The Magic sit atop the Southeast Division with a record of 29-20 and the Tinsley addition should help them alot. The Pacers on the other hand are struggling and are trying to get better tho many wonder if trading there Draft Pick for Nelson was a mistake.

Bulls Aquire Lafrentz from Portland

The Bulls aquired Center Raef Lafrentz today in exchange for Guard Larry Hughes. This is a great move for Chicago aquiring Raef's 12 Million expiring contract. On the other hand many wonder how Hughes will fit in in Portland with Fernandez and Roy on the team both Shooting Guards while Roy has a starting Spot and Fernandez is the sixth man where will Hughes go? This could have been a bad trade for Portland.

REPORT: Bobcats close to deal

It's been reported that the Bobcats have agreed in principle to a blockbuster trade with the New Orlean's Hornets sending Forward Gerald Wallace and Center Nazr Mohammed to the Hornets in exchange for Bobby Simmons and forward Julian Wright. If this deal goes down the Bobcats can easily get in on the Race to get Lebron in 2010 by aquiring Bobby Simmons and also build around forward Julian Wright in the process. The Hornets on the other hand aquire a star forward in Wallace to help out Chris Paul but also get a nasty contract in Nazr Mohammeds but still it seems like a good price to get such a good player in Wallace. The Bobcats are also active in talks with the LA Lakers about Lamar Odom who grabs the Bobcats interest with his 13 Million expiring contract. Charlotte is also very close on a deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers for Forward Wally Szczerbiak and Guard Daniel Gibson. The Bobcats would send Gerald Wallace and Shaun Livingston to Cleveland. Right now Charlotte is leaning towards sending Wallace to the Cavs but both teams are still talking about the trade. Portland has also hopped into the Mix and the deal on the table right now is Gerald Wallace and Desmond Mason to Portland for Travis Outlaw and recently aquired guard Larry Hughes to the Bobcats. The Bobcats are not very high on this deal and still working with Portland on possibly taking Hughes out of the trade. Whatever is gonna happen. Expect Wallace to be traded in the next few days.

Did the Hornets trade Peja or Posey? Otherwise it makes little sense for them to get G-Wall.

From what I read, G-Wall to the Lakers makes the most sense as the Lakers at one point were actually interested in trading Odom for Artest for more of a defensive presence at the 3.

The hornets traded peja for bobby simmons. I figured I could take 2 SF's off there hands in exchange for 1 since they have a complete log jam at SF. I was also thinking LA but I don't think there looking to trade anyway since there playing good basketball in my chise and in real life.

Bobcats agree to deal with Blazers for Outlaw

According to reports the Bobcats trade with the Hornets for Julian Wright and Bobby Simmons has fell through and Charlotte has agreed to a deal with the Blazers. The trade sends forward Gerald Wallace and Center Alexis Anjinca to Portland in exchange Charlotte gets Travis Outlaw, Channing Frye, and Ike Diogu. The Blazers are trying to sneak into the Playoffs and this trade could really help them out. On the other hand Charlotte is rebuilding as they get Diogu and Fryes expiring Contracts and a young Small Forward in Outlaw. All 3 Players will not play tonight in the Heat Game in Miami as Portland has already played today with Outlaw Frye and Diogu as they won in New York 90-88 and the trade happened hours after the Knicks game. As a result of this the short-handed Bobcats have signed Guard/Forward Dermarr Johnson to a 10 Day Contract.

Desmond Mason will start in at Small Forward like he did when Wallace broke his hand and the Bobcats have signed Dermarr Johnson to a 10 Day Contract. The Clippers have been playing much better since the Baron trade so expect a hard battle between both teams.
