When in doubt, I root for the team that more of my friends are a fan of. If I have to be pissed off during the playoffs then they might as well be too.
edit: I wonder if the Jets will be able to get up for this game as well as they did for the Pats game. I know it is the AFC championship and everything but Rex Ryan and company acted like the game against the Patriots was their Superbowl.

I hate the Jets and would love them to get run out of the playoffs by the Steelers, but I think I'd rather face the Jets than the Steelers in the Superbowl assuming the Packers get there. We've beat them already and their offense is no match for our defense. I'd have a lot more confidence facing them.

If the Jets win this game they would absolutely be worthy of being in the Super Bowl... beating the only teams that have represented the AFC in the Super Bowl since '03 (Colts, Pats and Steelers) in successive weeks on the road is no small task, that's for darn sure.
And that is why I'm rooting for the Jets. That and the fact that I hate the Steelers.

It's not going to be easy to run the ball in this game for either team. The Jets are #3 against the run allowed with 90.9 ypg and the Steelers are crazy at 62.8 per game. So I think it comes down to the passing game.
I wonder how much productive input Santonio Holmes has to offer Rex Ryan. He may or may not have some insight to help either the offense or defense of the Jets. Not that it's a big deal but I'm sure somebody has asked him for some info...I just wonder how much he has to offer.
Polamalu was missing last time the Jets played Pittsburgh and I think he's in for a huge game. I just don't think Sanchize is going to have a good game. I trust Big Ben will again make enough plays to win the game even if he looks bad. I don't think Sanchize can do that against the best D in the league with Polamalu healthy. I don't think this will be nearly as close as it was last time.
