Hawkins is my favorite too. Good head on his shoulders and like you said, he always makes plays in the open field. He looks natural on the field. I do believe he is the best receiver on the show and will eventually be the choice. Holley gets a bit high and mighty at times, but dude goes to work and he looks pretty good. Montrell Jones though... I think he might be retarded. I have no clue what Michael Irvin sees in him.

Moten is my favorite DB also, but Moses Washington should have been sent packing weeks ago. Every episode, he's not doing the right thing, he's complaining about something, he's getting burnt, he can't cover... that dude just sucks.

Hawkins went a HS about half an hour away from mine. I met him at a football camp, very nice guy.

Holley was a guard on the 2005 National Championship UNC team.

Just throwing in some facts about them. ;)

Agreed on all counts. Especially about Moses....dude is a bitch and you can tell nobody likes him. Plus he sucks, so there you go.

Anywho, I think Brian Johnson - especially after that amaaaaazing Sugar Bowl - should've been given a chance at pro stardom. And - not that I wanna make this racial - Rohan Daven might never have been given a shot due to the plight of black quarterbacks in the NFL... Of course, Cassel proved to be very effective last year, but his sucess won't last. I've heard some of the things he's said in KC and, while he doesn't have quite a T.O. air about him, I think he's setting himself up for failure. Outside of Palmer, my beloved USC's QBs are starting to disappoint me when they make it to the pros.

Rohan Davey wasn't cut because he was black, he was cut because it took him too long to make the throws and to grasp the Patriots offense. Don't get me wrong, I loved the guy as a back up but he wasn't a Patriots molded guy. Made a solid career for himself in NFL Europe while it lasted, whats he up too now?

I don't think race is a factor when picking an NFL quarterback anymore.

I wouldn't say it's a key factor or that every coach/GM/owner looks to make sure he doesn't get a black QB, I'm just saying that there aren't that many right now... and it's not as if there aren't any college QBs producing...

Rohan had a decent release but had shitty footwork. His drop back mechanics were apparently at beginner level when he got to the combine. For that, I blame Jimbo Fisher as much as I blame Ro.

That makes as much since as anything. It sort of reminds me how my granddad is always talking about how the Titans got rid of Steve McNair (who was supposed to be Vince's mentor) and wonder why Vince hasn't improved. My granddad thinks that if he'd had Steve, he could've improved his mechanics. But it was not to be...
