Finally got all 1000 achievement points tonight. What a bear that was. Shock & Awe Extreme is an exercise in complete frustration, but totally rewarding when it all comes together and you're in the zone with the combat. I got 12,000+ points in the last round alone.

I didn't have a problem 3 medaling any of them but the Shock & Awe ones. It comes after a while. If you can't get the 40x multiplier on the regular, or if you can't do the combo where you use all of Bat's moves, it's probably going to be trouble.

Yeah I'm probably fucked. The predator one's are a walk in the park for me, but I don't have the stick skills for some of this shit.

I got it. The Predator one is okay...one really cool medal takedown (hanging from a gargoyle through a glass ceiling...booyah). I LOVE the combat challenge, but GS, you'll probably hate it. It's just a "last as long as you can" thing (at least I think so, because I eventually always die) where you just get hit with huge waves of guys. Also, the crazy inmates are in this one, which can be REALLY annoying because throws and instant takedowns don't work on them.

Overall, neither is earth-shattering or anything, but both are free so I like it. If I had to pay for them though, I'd probably be disappointed.

Oh yeah, and GS, I don't know if you still have Gold (I remember you talking about not having it way back when the demo came out), but they're only available to Gold members (for now).

Don't really care about themes. Just happy that I got to play the game in 1080p vs. PS3's 720p. Until they improve upon that, I'll only get PS3 exclusives.

New downloadable content is out:

It consists of
- a freeflow map "Heart of Darkness" in which you fight in the clock tower. Small areas of the floor become randomly electrified. It's a standard 4 round map with armed thugs and a Titan beast (from an Arkham security guard) for "dessert"
- and a predator map "Hothouse Prey" located in the botanical glasshouse.
For the three medals you have to take out the red thug first, punch 3 different armed thugs and come out undamaged

Download this Challenge Map Pack and test your combat and Invisible Predator skills in 2 new locations, the Arkham Pumping Station and the Abandoned Glasshouse.

I hear ya. The interactivity of them is damn cool though. The audio cues and teh changing backgrounds.

For instance, the Joker cackles anytime you delete or back space when typing a message. Very eerie.

The Resistance one i used previously made run and reloading sounds whenever you moved the cursor or typed.
